After all the Great Mouse Detective 2 threads started by Teede, I decided to order the original 1986 classic The Great Mouse Detectivep. I haven't seen it in years, so let's hope that I like it. 8)

He's one of the handy-dandy reviewers for UD.

Speaking of which...Lukester, would I be allowed to write some reviews for Miramax films (such as say...Cider House Rules and Chocolat) and Touchstone films (such as the really-easy-to-write-a-review-for Big Business)?

Got money to buy the only release I was interested in:

Pocahontas

I'm not into upgrading but God knows that if there was a DVD that really, really needed to be upgraded was that one.

But that audio :x  ... it gets worse as the movie reaches the end. For me basically stereo... and a bad one, since I had my hometheater on max and I could barely hear. :x

PS

I forgot to mention that I left the slipcover at the store.... it was just stupid.

It began when form the DMC I got my Mulan DVD without it and I was like... better! So I did the same for Pocahontas; I do like slipcovers but the nice ones not just the same cover again.

To Have and Have Not
The Big Sleep
Ben-Hur (I was impatient, and I'll probably sell it when the 4-disc comes out in the fall)
Superman: The Movie
Dick

I would've gotten Key Largo and Dark Passage to complete the "Bogart/Bacall" movie set, but decided to wait awhile.

Oh, Wild West S1 arrived today. Just to keep Matty Mouse and Ichabod happy - I gave in and bought it. It better be good!
