Yeah, even though I know I will be able to find it in stores... My area is like Anti-Disney. We're all too cool to like disney.. go figure.
oh well, maybe my parents will forget and i'll get more stuff for xmas!
I agree that a dvd should not be used as an electronic babysitter. Personally I am single with only nieces & nephews but I would like the CHOICE of a play all feature if only for my own watching. How would you like it if you had to go back to the menu and hit enter for every chapter of a movie? Last time I checked Eisner's title wasn't babysitter in chief.2099net wrote: Sure children can watch them. Children can enjoy them. But it is wrong just to sit a kid down infront of the television and leave them alone after first hitting the "play all" button. At least removing the "play all" feature discourages this and also encourages parental participation.
Not at all.MPeriolat wrote:
BTW, I have to ask this: am I the only one who loves to kick back and watch all the shorts and the movies in order from the first to the most recent? Just never really gets old for me, as long as it is in moderation.
I sure hope so!!!!!!!!!2099net wrote:Look's like Prince Phillip may get his wish. I hope the special features make at least passing references to Mouseworks and House of Mouse. I'm looking forward to the Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor interviews - I enjoyed the Bill Farmer one on the Goofy set.
Now who thinks Mickey Mouse Disco will be an Easter Egg?
I'm sorry Dacp, I couldn't disagree with you more, while I see your point about the fantasia segment, Those are still cartoons with Mickey in them, and are segments that stand alone, just like all the other cartoons, and I really really really want Mickey and the Beanstalk --The WHOLE thing--dacp wrote:Why are they including Mickey's feature film appearences? That is so stupid. There is no need to break up movies like that. This set definitely seems like the most disappointing set so far. They should include "Mickey Mouse Disco" or some bonus B&W shorts if they wanted to make it special. Good God, I think I have seen the Sorceror's Apprentice about 45 million times. I won't even watch it on the DVD. What a waste of space...
Yeah, I tend to agree.MPeriolat wrote: That being said, it DOES concern me that shorts released just a year ago on Complete Goofy, namely Victory Vehicles and How to be a Sailor, will be on Front Lines. Again, not a complaint per se, but does feel like a waste of two slots that could have gone to shorts we haven't (or may never) see.
How did you get the e-mail, and me not??? Thats no fair!indianajdp wrote:AMAZON PRICE DROP
Just got an e-mail that the Tins I ordered at $24.74 have been reduced to $23.09 ... so the pre-orders thru Amazon have just gone down an additional $6.60 for all Four
Remember...use Luke's affiliate link from the frontpage...and be sure to tip your waiter/waitress.
I'm sure yours is coming...it's standard practice for thm to e-mail folks with Pre-Orders if Price Drops occur. Then again. maybe they read your hate-filled, anti-Luke ramblings and decided you don't deserve an e-mail notification ....jabroni76 wrote:

Yeah, me too.2099net wrote:I got about 20 emails from Amazon listing price reductions on my various pre-orders - it appears that they've decided to be more competitive over Christmas
