I like Anna's but Im mixed about Elsa's, love the fur trim & velvet look but the design on her cape seems overdone. And I just know its gonna end up being a glittery mess on the doll's outfits.

Those snow effects are still as pretty as ever. Probably a good thing Sven will be with Olaf in most of his scenes; he's much cuter/funnier than Olaf, imo.

I wish they kept this as a TV special. I loved watching the Toy Story ones during the holidays and my only desire to see Coco so far is because of this so I guess Disney's plan is working.

Yea, I wish it was a longer, TV special, and it's almost the only reason I want to see Coco. It pretty much is.

Producer Roy Conli gives a bit of new info about the short:
"We really wanted to make sure that it was not only in the world but furthered the world of the characters. It's really cool. You get to know Olaf a little bit better. You see a side of the ladies that you didn't see in the film. Even Kristoff has a legitimate song," Conli revealed.

I love all 3 (Thanks for posting "When We're Together," Sotiris!)! Anyone think Disney will release a CD with these songs and maybe "Making Today a Perfect Day"?

That's interesting- I just looked it up, and Coco comes out January 18th in the UK...Are you planning on going to the Frozen re-release to see this??

^ I wonder why they haven't previewed the fourth song. Do you think it was cut?

The fourth song must be the one the producer said Kristoff has in the featurette. I also found it strange Jonathan Groff's song hadn't been previewed when the rest of the main cast debuted the snippets of their respective songs on their social accounts. But I've just discovered that he doesn't have any social account. Maybe that's the reason why his song hasn't been previewed yet.

By the way, some of the songs from the featurette will be added to the live show For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from November 9 to December 31. One of the songwriters for the songs in the featurette, Kate Anderson, is actually Kristen Anderson-Lopez's sister. Another case of nepotism by the Lopezes. :glare:
Roy Conli wrote:There’s four new songs actually, in the film, and Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel wrote the music for it. Kate is actually the sister of Kristen Anderson-Lopez. It’s been an amazing journey. Those guys are so talented and the songs are stunning. There’s one song in there that I think is going to become the holiday favorite.

Q: How did this come about for you guys?

Kate Anderson: We were recommended for the job, by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez, and we got through the audition process. The day we landed this job was the happiest day of our lives.

Kevin Deters wrote:The Lopezes gave us some recommendations on songwriting duos that they either knew or had previously worked with. That’s how we wound up with Elyssa & Kate. Through the recommendation of Bobby & Kristen. And that couldn’t have been a better collaboration as far as I’m concerned.

And what's wrong with hooking your sister for a job? I'd do the same thing
