Kingdom Hearts 1.5 coming on Playstation 3

I was under the impression that Kingdom Hearts 2.5 is all but confirmed? It would make no sense for them not to release a second collection leading up to the release of KH III.

I expect it will be announced at Jump Festa. We'll certainly see one by years end. It must be announced in a timeframe where it is not overshadowed by bigger games nor it overshadowing anything else(like 1.5s announcement last year. Did square have that much else at TGS 2012?)

Well, even though I don't have a PS3, I got myself a copy of the game. My friend invited me over to check it out when he got it and I was so impressed that I knew I wanted to get a PS3 at some point for the game, and I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't get the limited edition while it was still available.

I always said how I wouldn't get a PS3 until Kingdom Hearts III came out (assuming it DID come out for it.. which it won't) because Wii and Xbox 360 were enough for me. But now it looks like I'll be getting a PS3 for the 1.5 ReMIX

History is repeating itself. Last gen, GameCube was my main console, then Xbox was my secondary console (it had a few exclusives I wanted, plus better third party games) and when PS2s were cheap (circa 2005, shortly before Kingdom Hearts II came out) I bought one for Kingdom Hearts. Now this gen Wii was my main console, with 360 being my secondary (again, third party games were awful on Wii and much better on 360 for the most part) and now that PS3s are cheap I'll be getting one soon for the 1.5 ReMIX.

I hope they do a mix with an HD version of KHII plus handhelds soon. (because I really can't justify $200 on a PS3 for one game, but for both I'd do it).

PS3 has got a lot more games than just 1.5 to justify the purchase.

From the AAA titles, I suppose. I do like Puppeteer though.
