Maybe so, but the not the right tone. THis is smaltzy romance. Impersonal romance. Belle;s profile is not specifically HER.
THe romance in BATB is rousing, energetic... the ballroom sequence is the most romantic, and yet its fast paced and exuberant.

You want a romantic BATB poster? look at the original release pink and blue one... you can't see their faces, but its DEFINITELY Belle and the beast in it...

THis rose poster is more suited for the broadway version

I don't think that it's a bad poster, instead, it's a very good one, very representative of the idea of Beauty and the Beast, you can see their faces in the symbol of the movie (the rose), like Snow White's reflection in the apple, and its not a childish poster like this one:

https://www.movieposter.com/posters/arc ... /1/A70-901

It's more serious, more focused on love, I agree with Marce82, its more suited for the broadway version.

This is off-topic, but I found two versions of the Beauty and the Beast Diamond Edition artwork, and Belle looks different in each of them. In which one would you say Belle looks better? I'm going to say the left one, she looks much like herself there. In the right one, she looks like a pig

The second one must be an early version of the first poster, that's normal, it's like Snow White in the Blu-ray cover:

I agree, they don't look like Belle in the original film, but I prefer the first image.

Actually, both Belles are pretty awful and off model. THe one on the left has better proportions and looks prettier, but its in general a bad drawing (whoever drew it had no idea how to properly draw a mouth). THe one on the right is drawn better, but her head is too small in relation to her face... and she has an overall matronly look to her....

Lets face it: the only good looking belle in artwork for home video is the one from the original VHS.

Okay, I'll upload them tonight, when I get home. I'm at work now.    i'm surprised you didn't ask for a Swan Princess poster :) or Thumbelina, since those two and Anastasia are the most popular non-Disney animated films.

Ha... Sorry Sicoe. I actually think Thumbelina and Swan Princess are quite a few notches below Anastasia and American Tail

Here they are. I downloaded the textless versions of the posters, if they were available. I prefer them :D I also added a bonus poster for Anastasia, which I think is one of the best, and it would be perfect if she were on model. If you guys can find a better version of the artwork, please post it here. I've been looking for one for years. :D

Hey everyone,

I have a few comments... thought I would share.

1) Sicoe, thanks a ton... again. Im curious though, why do you like that poster of Anastasia at the bottom at the staircase so much?
2) Wow, that poster of Jungle Book is BEAUTIFUL!!! Where is Bagheera though!??!?! How come everyone loves Baloo but not Bagheera... I always liked him! And does anyone know what this poster was used for? Or when it was created?
3) The Lilo and Stitch poster... did anyone notice this isn't the final version?!?!?!? Look at the characters, they are all drawn slightly differently than what ended up being the release poster... this must be a preliminary version...

Thanks so much Sicoe!
