Well I met Amy Grant and Vince Gill. They were very kind and very real. Meeting Amy was almost surreal, and I was very nervous. Still, it was nice. The Christmas concert they delivered was so well-put together and felt both grand and intimate at the same time- better than last year's, I think. I'll update my original list to reflect this.

I have another Amy Grant concert to add to my list (my 5th!). Probably the best I've been to yet... wonderful set list, unbelievable energy, great vocals, and the audience was extremely receptive and responsive. She performed with her normal band as well as the Charlotte Symphony-Orchestra.

Set List
1. Harry's Wondrous World (Symphony only)
2. New Hampshire Hornpipe (Symphony only)
3. Stay For A While
4. Takes A Little Time
5. Saved by Love
6. Someone to Watch Over Me (Symphony only)
7. Love Me Tender
8. House of Love
9. Big Yellow Taxi
10. Believe (Theme from "Three Wishes) (by request)
11. Ask Me
12. After the Fire
13. Jesus Loves Me/They'll Know We Are Christians/Helping Hand
14. The Things We Do For Love
15. Baby Baby
16. Every Heartbeat
17. If These Walls Could Speak
18. Variations on a Shaker Melody/I Danced in the Morning (Symphony only)
19. Innocence Lost
20. El Shaddai
21. Highland Cathedral
22. Joyful Joyful
23. Father's Eyes (Encore 1)
24. I Will Remember You (Encore 2)

Now I know other people besides me have been to concerts since September '04. So who have you seen??

I'm very jealous, particularly of the top one.

Oh, and also, it's not exactly a concert, but I did see the last part of a John Edwards speech live the other day. He's a professor at our school now and he was speaking, so I ducked in between midterms.

I haven't been to many, but most of them were VERY good!

Madonna (twice):
Drowned World Tour in D.C.
Re-Invention Tour in Vegas (I won tickets for this one from MTV, and was on the stage, in the "pit". AMAZING concert!)

Tina Turner and Lionel Ritchie

Tori Amos

Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera (I won tickets from a local radio station for this one)

and I am sure there are a few more. I just can't think of them, right now.

The last concert that I went to was a Green Day one. I'm not particularly a big fan of Green Day but my friend invited me to a concert, so I said yes. It was amazing! I had so much fun! My favorite part was when they sung "We are the campions" (which was originally sung by Queen). The GD version is actually very good but of course, the Queen version will always be the best.

Sad to say that I don't go to concerts...

The only one I remember was a Nickelodeon concert in Camden in either 2000 or 2001. Didn't care much for it, the groups I remember seeing were LFO, Bewitched, a lot of teenybopping groups of the time. And we only went because my cousin Kate was a member of I5, an underrated group that has since dissolved. Interesting to note that Disney's The Cheetah Girls did a horrible cover of one of their songs, "Cinderella".

After a long, long wait, I finally saw Aerosmith in concert last night! It's the "Rockin' the Joint" tour and Lenny Kravitz opened (with a very long set). The concert was great... we had 5th row seats and then got to walk up to the stage and stand there, just a few feet away from Steven Tyler.

Set List
1. Helter Skelter
2. Walk This Way
3. Same Old Song and Dance
4. Cryin'
5. SOS (Too Bad)
6. Livin' on the Edge
7. Shakin' My Cage (Joe Perry solo)
8. Sweet Emotion
9. Seasons of Wither
10. What It Takes
11. Dream On
12. Walkin' the Dog
13. No More, No More
14. Baby, Please Don't Go
15. Train Kept A Rollin'

ENCORE

16. Back in the Saddle
17. Draw the Line

Aaron, congrats on getting to see Aerosmith finally!!

Haven't been to many concerts.. but I've seen:

Alanis Morisette (my first concert when I was like 13 or something- it was right when she hit it big)
Tonic
Goo Goo Dolls
Third Eye Blind
Natalie Merchant (got dragged to by my older brother & his gf  )
The Backstreet Boys
Britney Spears (can't tell you how proud I am of these last two  )
Gavin DeGraw
Lifehouse (twice)
Live
Journey (awesome!)
Coldplay (amazing, won free tickets from a radio station)
Fall Out Boy (very surprised at how much I enjoyed this one)

I don't have all that much money to spend on concerts so I of couse haven't been to any big ones - my parents just went to Bon Jovi and I am sooo jealous. Can't wait until I can drop $200 on a concert and not worry about it!
