The problem for me is that's only really good if you need "Cars," which I don't really ever want to buy. I hope there's a coupon.

I keep waiting for somebody to post something I'd care two pins about in here, and nobody does. Just Brenders talking about coupons.

Amuse me, you coupon-lover!

I'm gonna wait for tron, and pick up The Incredibles. Unfortunately, I got both the DVD and blu-ray for Cars, so I cant really see much reason to switch with the execption of me selling my existing discs and saving space.

I GOT "TRON" BECAUSE I ENJOY IT, SOUPZ. IN AN AWFUL, CHEESY 1980S WAY IN THAT I CAN WATCH IT AND THINK "THIS IS WHAT WE THOUGHT COMPUTERS DID?"

Also if you were a REAL completist you would have bought every release of "TRON" or "TRON: Legacy" that came out today. Reyquila would.

But I would seriously never watch "Cars" like ever. I'd consider re-watching it at some point, but I remember the only time I actually thought the movie was enjoyable or funny was the end credits scene with John Ratzenberger's character commenting on the other movies.

^too bad. I thought Cars was an enjoyable movie, and at least they're now branching off from the "Doc Hollywood" vibe with the new stuff that's always comin out.

I liked Cars, too. I haven't seen it in a really long time, but I am definitely interested in getting the new combo back as I don't own the film yet.

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but has anyone tried entering a UPC from their copy of The Incredibles into DMR to see if they get any kind of "coming soon" or "not live" message regarding any potential coupon? I don't have the movie on DVD so I haven't tried it myself, but I'm guessing that has already been done?

I'm not going crazy over the coupon, I just wanted to see. They surprised us last minute with Alice, so who knows. :?

I just tried it. It didn't work.

Also, isn't it suspicious this title is 29.99 on Amazon? Usually they're a bit cheaper right? :(

I'm sure it will drop. They'll at least match Target's $26.99 price, and if Best Buy is any cheaper they'll probably match that too once they're alerted to it.

Yeah, I'm waiting to see what Best Buy is going to offer. Hopefully, someone will post their sale prices today at Blu-ray.com.

A poster over at Blu-ray.com has discovered that there will be a $10 DMR coupon for The Incredibles! :) However, it is not live yet.

Beautiful. Ten dollars off and I won't even have to buy "Cars." Now if only "TRON" had this sort of thing...

Yay! Now I'm really going to buy it. Probably around $10-$12 on release day? Now I need to save some money.

Awesome! The Incredibles was the first Pixar movie I bought on DVD. Now it'll be the first Pixar movie I buy on Blu-Ray.

Awesome! The Incredibles was one of the few Disney DVD's I lost when I moved, but I've held off on replacing it in hopes of a better edition (I wasn't even planning on Blu-ray back then, but here we go). And with the coupon, it looks like picking it up right away won't be an issue. :)

Not to steer away from The Incredibles, but believe it or not, there is going to be a $8 DMR coupon for the Cars Blu-ray/DVD combo pack coming out the same day (not active yet):

Discovered, again, by a Blu-ray.com poster: http://forum.blu-ray.com/movie-tv-deals ... ost4588645

I never, ever expected a coupon for Cars, but this is excellent. If you don't already have Cars, this is a chance to save $18 dollars on both titles next week!

I wish they gave the current blu-ray players a bigger incentive to upgrade to the combo pack. I only own the BD, and while I would like to get the DVD also, it's not worth it for me, even with the 8 dollar coupon. It'd be nice if they gave anyone that's already bought the BD a 15 coupon or something. /greedy

If your Blu-ray was in pretty good condition, I wonder how much it would fetch on eBay?

I bought Up on DVD brand new & sealed at a thrift store for $5 back before I had a Blu-ray player. When I recently upgraded to the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, I was able to sell my used DVD (in near-new condition) for $9 on eBay. In the end it only cost me a few extra dollar to upgrade (I got Up on eBay for $15), so it might be worth looking into. :?
