So if I understand this correctly, the only new bonus feature will become as useless as the "How Disney Cartoons Are Made" feature on Beauty and the Beast hosted by Louis and Ren Stevens?...

It seems so, Disney must not care that the fact this movie highly popular and well loved by many fans around the world. Disney just didn't take the time to do a proper DVD release, because there all about money and how to make more of it and only spend time on certain films they know will make money.

On the plus side, that one was fifteen minutes. Can you imagine, goofystitch? Fifteen minutes!

(A clap of thunder, and Cruella de Vil appears in the doorway.)

Cruella: FIFTEEN! Fifteen minutes!

(she walks over to the TV and pushes Nanny aside to start watching it.)

Cruella: How marvelous, how marvelous, how perfectly - UGH! The devil take it. They're mongrels...all fluff! All fluff! What a horrid little featurette!

Nanny: They're not mongrels! The featurette has good information. Just wait and see.

Anita: That's right. The featurette will get better in a few minutes.

Cruella: Oh, well, in that case I'll watch it all. The whole feature and documentary too. Just give me the DVD, dear.

(Cruella reaches for the eject button on the DVD player, but Roger stands in her way.)

Anita: I'm afraid we can't give it up. Poor home theatre, it'd be heartbroken.

Cruella: Anita, don't be ridiculous. You can't afford to keep this DVD. You can scarcely watch your entire collection yourselves.

Anita: I'm sure we'll get along.

Cruella: Yes, I know. I know! Roger's...Roger's songs! Enough of this nonsense. I'll pay you twice what the DVD's worth. I'm being more than generous.

(She takes out a checkbook and tries to write a check. The pen doesn't work, she shakes it furiously in the general direction of Roger and Pongo.)

Cruella: Blast this pen. Blast this wretched, wretched pen! When can the DVD leave the collection? Two weeks? Three weeks?

Roger: Never.

Cruella: What?

Roger: We're not selling the DVD. Not a single disc. Do you understand?

Cruella: Anita, is he serious? I really don't know Roger.

Anita: Cruella, he...

Cruella: Surely he must be joking!

Roger: No, no, no. I mean it. You're not getting one. Not one. And that's...final.

Cruella: Why, you horrid man! You... you...All right, keep the little
discs for all I care. Do as you like with them. Scratch them!

(she points her finger at Anita)

Cruella: But I warn you, Anita, we're through. I'm through with all of you! I'll get even. Just wait for Blu-Ray! You'll be sorry, you fools! You... you idiots!

(she slams the door on them.)

Unless it's 2-discs, I don't care.

But let me guess- it's just 1.

Hehe, thanks guys!

And Laz, unfortunately it is a single-disc, which is a crime as the film really deserves a two-disc.

Never say never there could be a 2-Disc right around the corner, 2011 is Bedknobs 40th Anniversary.

Again, highly doubtful. It doesn't make sense.

Mary got a 40 and a 45, so B&B could get a 40 after EME.

Mary Poppins is way, way more popular than Bedknobs and Broomsticks. While it may be beloved by Disney fans, a lot of people have never even heard of it. :(

Everybody has either seen or heard of B&B, it may not be in the top 10 best Disney films of all time, but its in at least the top 20 or 25.

Yet, they probably might remember it vaguely if you point it out as the film with live-action people floating around on a bed in an animated environment.

No people know of this movie, It maybe unrated or called a carbon copy of Mary Poppins, but it is highly remembered.

It's one of Anglea Lansbury's finest films and to some fans, think this was her first film.

Wow. So to some fans, Angela Lansbury didn't start acting until she was 46 years old? They really need to see more of her movies then (such as Gaslight, which was her first movie, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Court Jester, The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, The Manchurian Candidate, All Fall Down...).

This is a movie I'll happily double-dip for; but just wish Disney cared enough to give it the Platinum/Diamond treatment...I know...keep dreaming...

You and me both Cordy, you, me, and a whole lot of other Bedknobs and Broomsticks fans out there are waiting for the DVD release that this underated Disney classic so greatly deserves.

Little note to Disney here....

Anglea ain't getting any younger, so if I were you guys I'd get with the program....
