Once again, here is BrandonH!

Best Country Artist

This year's nominees bolster the argument of those who believe country music has been deluded in recent years by competing genres. The five artists below have each had multi-platform crossover success, two of them having been nominated in the Christian Music categories of these very awards, two emerging from the pop-geared "American Idol", and another a part of the Hannah Montana tween ear candy movement.

The nominees are:

Amy Grant
Carrie Underwood
Dolly Parton
Jason Castro
Taylor Swift

And now, please welcome blackcauldron85!

Best Disney Channel Original Series

blackcauldron85: There is no doubt that Disney Channel has had some major hits over the years. “Lizzie McGuire”, “That’s So Raven”, and “Hannah Montana” have been extremely successful shows on the channel. The three shows nominated for Best Disney Channel Original Series are also extremely successful shows. One was so successful (“The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’) that a spin-off was created (“The Suite Life on Deck”), and, what do you know, that show is also nominated this year! The three young leads of “Wizards of Waverly Place” have all acted on other Disney Channel shows and movies prior to “Wizards”, and all have found major success on the channel, just like the young actors on the “Suite Life” shows.

Once more, the nominees are:

The Suite Life on Deck
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
Wizards of Waverly Place

...And the winner is...

But it is said that villains come in all shapes and sizes. Auto is just an embodiment doing what he's told.

Anyway, congrats to all the winners so far!

Please welcome back blackcauldron85!

Best Made-for-TV Movie or Mini-Series

blackcauldron85: Chances are, if a movie doesn’t premiere in a movie theater, and it doesn’t premiere on DVD, it premieres as a made-for-TV movie. The four movies nominated for Best Made-for-TV Movie are great examples. “Camp Rock”? The musical premiered on Disney Channel. “The Cheetah Girls: One World”? Another musical that premiered on Disney Channel. “John Adams”? It’s technically a miniseries, and it premiered on HBO. “A Miser Brothers Christmas”? The animated film premiered on ABC Family. Do you wish that these films had premiered in a theater or on DVD? Well, if they did that, then they would not have been eligible to be nominated for this category!

Once more, the nominees are:

Camp Rock
The Cheetah Girls: One World
John Adams
A Miser Brothers Christmas

...And The winner of Best Made-for-TV Movie is...

Yay for WALL-E, but come on, people! This isn't UltimateHBO.com! I haven't seen John Adams, but it's really better than the 2 Disney Channel movies nominated? :( (I'm just whining... :) )

Please welcome back Disneykid!!

Best Adapted Screenplay

Disneykid: Translating well-known source material to film is, to say the least, a daunting task. Short stories, novels, and stage plays each feature a unique structure and storytelling method that isn’t always compatible with the film format. The screenwriter must find a way to adapt the material in a way that’s best suited for cinema. Sometimes this requires additions, alterations, and even deletions from the original work. It has to be palatable for newcomers while still satisfying established fans. Our five nominees tonight have managed to strike that delicate balance for both types of audiences. The nominees are:

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Eric Roth)
Doubt (John Patrick Shanley)
Mamma Mia! (Catherine Johnson)
Slumdog Millionaire (Simon Beaufoy)
The Spiderwick Chronicles (Karey Kirkpatrick, David Berenbaum, John Sayles)

And the winner is…
