They actually air movies on Disney Channel? Funny I thought it was just a 24 hour crap-a-thon of repeat episodes over and over :P If I had known movies were actually aired on there I might care more for it...well not really but I you never know :)

I was at the Disney Store at the mall yesterday, and the song "Celebrate You" played, but it wasn't the Corbin Bleu version. I didn't know that anyone else recorded the song, and I was disappointed (and extremely confused) when the song came on and it wasn't Corbin's voice! Does anyone know who else recorded the song (it's the song for the Disney Parks' "What Will You Celebrate?" promotion)? I'm having trouble finding any information about the song besides info on Corbin's version.

They mostly air newer movies (Ex: Cheetah Girls One World is on right now and the Princess Diaries 2 is on tomorrow. )

Probably some generic Disney pop singer or chorus. The Corbin cover is also not used for the "new" parade at MK either Amy. I think when he did it that was a one time only thing.

It was a man singing...not a whole chorus. Just to let you know. I know that Corbin performed the song for the Disney Christmas parade, and he made the music video for the song and it airs on Disney Channel...is the version that plays in the parks sung by a man or a chorus? Or a lady, for that matter? I know that Corbin's version will also be on his album coming out next month, too...

Sounded like the traditional Disney parade chorus to me form the video I watched. Never heard the man singer version but I assume it's nobody special in Disney's mind as his name has yet to pop up in any press release.

I'm having trouble finding a Disney retractable Pen that is NOT HSM or Hannah Montana or Camp Rock.

What I am specifically looking for is similiar to this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0044145182

I've been to Dollar Tree, Michaels Crafts, Hobby Lobby, and a party goods store.

I want to use it as an Autograph Pen when I go to Disney World in May. Actually what I really am looking for is:

http://www.disneysmilesstore.com/shop/i ... ucts_id=19

This is currently sold out and the owner wrote back to my inquiry and said it'd be at least three weeks before they were able to stock more.

I also am interested in finding a Disney Princess Luggage Tag like this one:

http://www.laughingplacestore.com/Product-10630.asp

I am guessing the Luggage Tag is something that can only be purchased at WDW, but I also found it at http://www.cartoonfansclub.com/belle-bagtag.html so that makes me think I could find it somewhere and not have to pay shipping.......

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask; I really wasn't sure where to ask. My nearest Disney store is now many hours away since the other one closed last summer.

I still have Dollar General and Family Dollar to visit, as well as a Stationery store an hour away.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I know it's kind of late to reply this since May has already passed, but thanks to the bump, I can answer for posterity's sake! The link with what you were looking for didn't work, but I know the Disney Theme Parks sell dozens of retractable pens, but they're ridiculously overpriced. I got a pen with a "dancing" Pooh on the top for my friend and it was like $5! The airport Disney stores and all the super-touristy souvenir shops sell lots of pens that match the description you're describing though they're mostly: Fab 5(or 6), Princesses, Disney Channel, Cars, and Pooh. Also, any Florida pharmacy store (Walgreens) has this kind of stuff, too. I'm sure you may be able to find it in your neighborhood Walgreens as well. Also, you can try craft stores and even Target and Wal-Mart have Disney character pens.

Also, the Epcot stamp book question on the second post was never fully answered:
Sky Syndrome wrote:I've got a couple of Disney park questions:
I've read somewhere on the web that at the Epcot, you can get a free booklet for collecting stamps from a shop, which you take around and get it ink-stamped at a station in each of the "countries". What does the booklet and the entire collection of stamps look like?
As Flanger-Hanger said, they're not free and cost around $10-15. I got one in 2003 and it was constructed to look like a real passport with the World Showcase pavilion flags in Mickey heads and "Epcot Passport" written on the front. The passport pages had blank pages with section for each country of the World Showcase in order starting at Mexico. There's also information about "validating your passport" at a designated location (usually the KidCot Fun Stops or some gift shop registers had the stamps as well). In the blank pages you filled them with the given stamps for that country. Some were photos of scenes of the pavillion, art from the pavilion, and even concept art. Also, there was a stamp of each country's flag within a Mickey head.

It was great because since Disney employs actual citizens of the showcase's country, you got to meet and talk to them. They stamped my book with a stamp with the country name and Mickey with traditional headgear of the country (e.g. Mickey in a Fez at Morocco). Some were more special than others. In China, she stamped by Chinese Zodiac animal and wrote my name in Chinese. Others wrote in their native language and alphabet. They all said Welcome to ____ and signed their name. Some put a little note like "Welcome to the home of Pinocchio" (in Italian), "UK is Home of Winnie the Pooh" from Lewis in UK, and Lindsay in Canada wrote "Welcome to Canada, Home of Hockey." Haha. I guess she didn't know about Kenai and co. from Brother Bear.

Overall, I think the passport is best for kids to enrich their World Showcase experience and provide modes of interaction with actual citizens of the country so they can see that it's a small world after all.

Regarding this thread, I agree that as great as an idea as this thread sounds, it's rather difficult to have your question answered if not enough people are paying attention since the subject line is only "General" questions. I started a thread like this around my first year on UD and it disappeared quickly. You have to rely on posters to regularly check the thread to see if they can answer any questions. Maybe this time around it will work as long as people keep answering questions?

Keep the questions coming!

I thought that I had asked this question somewhere, but I just can't find out where, or maybe I just never asked it. If someone did answer it for me before, my bad memory made me forget the answer.

When watching rough animation (like on DVD bonus features), why is there flickering? I'll show an example:

Like, why does Tarzan partially disappear?!?
