Thank you so much for the videos ! They have had 717,000 views already ! That's the power of Britney for you :D

Also, HUGE news ----- Britney is going to give OK magazine her first interview in years ! It will be released this week, along with a brand new photoshoot. She talks about Kevin, her children, her career etc. So excited !

This feels like her real and 'proper' comeback. I am SO excited !

Britney Spears gives OK! magazine her first candid interview in two years. Here’s what the comeback pop princess had to say:

On not wanting her sons, Jayden and Preston, to pursue a career in the entertainment business: “I’d rather not. But but I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.”

On younger sister Jamie Lynn’s recent pregnancy: “I was shocked a little bit. She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling.”

On wanting her boys to be close to her newborn niece: “I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie.”

On her new album hitting stores in six to nine months: “I think it is more urban. I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room… This is my best work ever.”

Her father, Jamie Spears, was also present during the interviewing, sharing how Britney is capable of being manipulative to get her way: “It’s wonderful. (The relationship) is new for both of us. She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But like all daughters, she is very manipulative and cunning. So she gets what she wants a lot… God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good. If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys.”

Yay Britney! My choice for the MTV VMAs if for her to either performance a real kickass performance of an upbeat song (either Slave, Oops, Baby, Toxic, or Gimme) or, a really fantastic acapella performance of Piece of Me. That'd be so cool!

After much speculation, inside sources are confirming that Britney Spears will once again grace the stage of the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7. According to friends, Brit is extremely focused this time around and wants to be taken seriously:

She is as nervous as hell but at the same time itching to get back in front of the same audience where she screwed up so badly last time. It is the perfect platform for her to announce to her fans and the world that the dark days are behind her and she’s back on track with her life and her career. She really wants to do this, despite the jitters.

We're not quite on board with this idea — she should really be taking baby steps — but MTV would be insane to not jump on this publicity opportunity. Americans love seeing comebacks, but even more than that they love seeing someone fail miserably. Win-win.

:shock: OMG! This is great news (well kinda)! I'm totally rooting for her, I hope she'll knock 'em dead! I know Britney should be taking things slowly but this is definitely the perfect opportunity to redeem herself especially after last years' performance. It will be so good to see her do what she does best (I've missed the old Britney)! :D

Yay! I was hoping that she'd perform! It makes me sad, though, when people mention her failing. Have faith in her, people! She's apparently doing so much better now, so give her a chance!
