WOW! what a bad poster well actually it isnt that bad it just well dosnet atract u to it and its to dark if its hanging in a movie thatre people will see a black sheet of paper with words on it
why disney why
Also, Animated Movies brings up an interesting point: the poster looks sort of CGI-ish, which might be a trick to get more people to see it, since the studios seem to think that CG is the sure thing these days.
Yeah that poster ain't great. As for the CGI looking poster trick, I don't care about it, if thats the way Disney has to get people to see a 2D movie now-a-days then I'm all for it. I have great confidence in this being a good movie so I really want it to do well.
I just read over at animated-movies.net that Disney had to actually get a license out on the name "Brother Bear" because the name is owned by the Berenstein Bears. Aopparently marketing liked just plain Bears more. The fact that Disney was willing to pay money just for the title of the movie makes me think that there might be more support for Brother Bear than we might think. Hopefully it'll have a killer ad campaign and just fill up the seats when it premiers (that's, of course, working under the assumption that it's a good movie, but I've seen nothing in the previews that makes me believe it won't be).
"On My Way" will be the only song from Brother Bear that will be featured on the DVD.
Here are the list of songs that will be on the sing-along DVD:
On My Way; Try Again; Following The Leader; Go The Distance; I'm Still Here; Digga Tunnah; On The Open Road; Aloha, E Komo Mai
The song "Digga Tunnah", a tune rumored to be written for The Lion King 1 1/2: Hakuna Matata will be on the DVD.
Update on Brother Bear Soundtrack
Billboard confirms that Tina Turner has signed on to perform "Great Spirits" as the opening tune for Disney's Brother Bear, and adds that the Blind Boys of Alabama and the Bulgarian Women's Choir will also perform on the film's soundtrack, which is due October 21.
The first single of the soundtrack of Brother Bear is called "Look Through My Eyes" which should come out tomorrow, and will be released as a 1-track single.

I believe that some music radio stations in the USA are playing this song.
