Cheers,

They asked me where I was from and they improvised the national anthem of Puerto Rico!!! It was great!!! Also I was picked in the Festival of the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom to imitate a wild hog sound!!!blackcauldron85 wrote:I'm glad you had a great time, Reyquila!
That's awesome!!! That's a funny part of the show (if it's the joke I think it is)!!!reyquila wrote: I got the see the Laugh Floor at MK and was picked up by the monster of ceremonies for a couple of jokes.
Sorry to hear that Escapay, but from the posts I've read and conversations we've had since you first started there, I can tell you had a great ride while it lasted! As you know from the "Next Generation" finale, all good things... You've been able to see Disney inside and out now, and you get to return to the leisure side of tourism. Hopefully you can get yourself an annual pass! Even if the "see if I can spot Escapay at a vendor cart" game will no longer be available for play, we can all take satisfaction in knowing that one of UD's most prominent members helped to spread the magic for so long!Escapay wrote:Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm back in NJ for good. The program didn't agree with me*
I have a feeling that I'm gonna only last a week, and I'm not just saying that cuz I read this....Escapay wrote:Well, I've had a few days to cool down from my last post which was cryptic and didn't say much. But I figured since I was free of the program, I could talk about whatever the hell I'd want to. After all, I'm no longer legally bound to the company to keep mum about certain things.
Still, I don't want to encourage anyone to form more ill will towards Disney than there already is. Even though their College Program is a Slave Labor Operation in disguise, it's done wonders for me in the past concerning guest interaction, self-esteem, and personality issues.
But I will say that this year, within the span of only two weeks, I've begrudgingly turned away completely from the College Program. It's nice work if you can get it, but ultimately a soul-stealing life-altering money-grubbing sham.
I didn't have a bad time on the program. It was phenomenal this year. It's just that I became a victim of circumstance and it's all due to shitty management and their decision that rather than keep morale up for its castmembers, they'll scare them into following the rules by firing anyone for the smallest of infractions.
I will say, though, that leaving the Program was NOT MY CHOICE at all. You can thank the Magic Kingdom OutDoor Foods Management Team and the Magic Kingdom Labor Office for my premature exit from the Mouse House. I made a small infraction, and because of it, I lost out on a summer job and the managers lost out on a seasoned castmember who could have helped new castmembers this summer.

Well, it's a minor thing that's not PM-necessary, and can be great advice for current/future CP's:toonaspie wrote:Would it hurt if I ask what small infraction it was that you got booted for? by PM?
That just made my day magical. Great advice. That's exactly how I feel someday.Just stick to your saccharine sweetness and let guests and management walk all over you. It's the best way to survive. When you're a CP, you don't have a brain. You just have a purpose, you do that purpose, and you do it with a smile. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope to God my managers have a magical day...
