The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Pixar’s Brain Trust has been involved in how to successfully revive Jim Henson’s Muppets, with a table read of the characters’ latest proposed movie taking place at their Emeryville campus.

I'm not sure about Pixar doing something like this. No doubt they'd make it work. But I like how Pixar usually crafts its own stories and characters instead of adapting existing ones.

For Yoda, I would have chosen a squeaky toy alien.

Interesting that Randy Newman isn't composing Cars 2. I wonder why, then again, Cars had probably the most forgettable score of any Pixar film, so Giacchino is not a bad choice. And it's appropriate that he's scoring the new Star Tours, since I do feel he's like the John Williams of today.

Oh and blackauldron85, why do you always post the link to laughingplace.com and never the link where the article actually is (like I did up above)? It would make it more convenient, rather than simply clicking another link.

I used to post the main article link, but I think I got lazy a while back...if that makes any sense...I gather so much info from so many sites, I guess it just makes it easier. But I'll try and remember for next time to not be lazy. :)
