He was never specifically called Prince Charming, was he?
Hmmm, well we know that the 'Beast' in Beauty and the Beast is called Adam.....that only leaves Snow Whites Prince and Prince Cindy without names!
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Prince
Cinderella: Prince Charming (?)
Sleeping Beauty: Prince Phillip
The Little Mermaid: Prince Eric
Beauty and the Beast: Beast / Prince Adam

How do you know that?

Right, and the Disney trivia CD-Rom game The D-Show also calls him Adam. I think the name suits him, especially since his character journey is sort of symbolic of Adam's from the book of Genesis.
As for Cinderella's prince, even though he's never called Prince Charming in the film, that's his official name by Disney. If you go through Cinderella's DVD galleries, concept art for the prince actually say "Prince Charming" on the paper.

I've never saw the new film yet, but the first 2 films were not that bad except the third film I want to try when I want to get it on DVD.
Keep in mind that it is a direct-to-video movie and it was made by the Disneytoon Studios and it was also the first animated feature film to use the new logo the same way as "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" does in the first place.
"Fox and the Hound 2" was indeed the last animated feature to use the original blue logo since it was used back in 1985, but it's now history. The end of an era for the original 21-year-old logo.
The Disneytoon Studios logo is still in use today in addition to the new logo is shown here.

also the encyclopedia of Walt Disney's animated characters calls him Prince Charming. But I to am wondering about his real name mentioned in the movie.Disneykid wrote:Right, and the Disney trivia CD-Rom game The D-Show also calls him Adam.
I didnt mean to sound pushy Disney Live On, and I'm really sorry if I did.
I was just so desperate for info on Disney Princess Enchanted Tales! Belle / Jasmine hang in the balence!
And I'm also sorry to you lighthousemike if I seemed to be pumping you for info on it! I understand that you are doing this out of the kindness of you own heart, and I'm sorry!
Don't worry atlanticaunderthesea you didn't do anything wrong. It was a general post to just try and create some sort of peace on this forum because as I read the posts I noticed this slowly growing adversity and I just wanted to help everyone see that we're all friends here and we can all enjoy this DVD release together without getting pushy or angry at each other. YOU GUYS ALL ROCK! Never forget that.
In terms of my thoughts on the film I two am excited. I actually find it histerical that it comes out on DVD on my 18th birthday!
How weird is that?
The screencaps are beautiful and again I am thankful that we have been blessed with seeing them this early. It is so cool to see the opening scenes in this form because it gives us another sneak peak without giving away to much of the movie. The scene where the magic spell turns back time is SO COOL! I love it- although it is really scary seeing Cinderella and her Prince ripped apart within the green clouds- I never thought Disney could go that far. It's like: 'HEY LITTLE GIRLS WATCH AS WE DESTROY EVERY DREAM YOU'VE EVER HAD!!!' lol
just kidding.
Still I am glad that everyone who has seen the movie loves it- I know I will! And thanks to everyone who has added to the Cinderella forums. I feel so proud that I actually got to start a real thread that has gained this much popularity (I am of course refering to the original Cinderella III release thread- not this one).

Wrt early screenings, the DVD menu making companys' employees would have seen the film, sometimes in a partial state of completion, long before it went into distribution channels. That happened to me on at least 4 titles.
However, __all__ those artists go under NDA and MPAA restrictions and cannot redistribute content they work with or create. Those agreements have sharp teeth.
I've not seen any notice for Los Angeles's El Capitan to do special C-III screenings, but perhaps iif it's an all out blockbuster sales champ, Disney would reconsider.

Thank You for not Spoiling Cinderella III
Lighthousemike, THANK YOU. Your spoiler warnings saved me, and I scrolled as far as I wanted. I didn't experience any trauma. In fact, now I'm just more excited! You did it perfectly. You're awesome.
