"Doctor Gulley and the Dalmatians of Doom" has become "Happy the Dancing Elf of Phrooflington" and I don't care anymore.

Wednesday, March 21, 2007:
I hope I will not regret returning to this thread later on and that some people have learned their lesson. I hope that any future posts after mine will not contain anything remotely similar to descriptions and names for bonus features, packaging, banner names, etc. From now on, if any of my new descriptions or featurettes are copied and slightly modified for someone else's set, I will pull out once again, and simply ignore that user's messages on the boards. It's not my thread, but I'll ask Sequel to once again ask for it to be closed, to further prevent more acts of plagiarism.

Escapay I love your ideas on what should be on the Peter Pan Platinum Edition. Unfortunately, like you said I doubt all of that wonderful stuff will actually make it onto the DVD. It will be interesting to see what bonus features do make it onto the DVD. I am most looking forward to In Walt's Words - Walt Disney Reveals "Why I Made PETER PAN" and also You Can Fly: The Making of Peter Pan (hopefully extended).

There's something oddly familiar about these bonus features... Among other things, might wanna change the trailer date from 1953 to 1973... :D

Woohoo, a "Love" cover! I'm just glad you didn't use the "Hamster Dance", which is a faster-remixed-on-crack version of the opening theme for Robin Hood!

I really really really want Escapays "Peter Pan: Wishful Thinking Edition." He should really be in charge of making these DVDs for Disney. I especially want all of the bonus features about the rides and the new making of. I will be ever so pissed if we are treated to the old "You Can Fly: The Making of Peter Pan" because I now own it twice on two seperate formats and I want something more in-depth like what we have grown accustomed to for the Platinums. I was upset when they recycled the similar making of for the special edition release of "Sleeping Beauty." If Disney does release the old making of, they should be prepaired for angry letters from me and possibly other disgruntled fans. By the way, did you know that when you write to Disney, your views/opinions count as 100 people? In their minds, for every one person who writes, there are at least 100 other people who feel the same way who didn't know where to write or call or were unable to take the time to do it. So even if only 10 people wrote, that would stand for 1,000 people who were upset. :)

Oh well, I guess my Ultimate DVDs are templates now for everyone else's!
goofystitch wrote:I really really really want Escapays "Peter Pan: Wishful Thinking Edition." He should really be in charge of making these DVDs for Disney.
Thanks! I've always wanted to be a documentarian (is that a word?), if I couldn't make it as a regular filmmaker or regular teacher.
goofystitch wrote:By the way, did you know that when you write to Disney, your views/opinions count as 100 people? In their minds, for every one person who writes, there are at least 100 other people who feel the same way who didn't know where to write or call or were unable to take the time to do it. So even if only 10 people wrote, that would stand for 1,000 people who were upset.
Ooh, good to know!

Poo. I like my version better.

Of course, all the meaty stuff could be covered in the "and much more" part, but I'm not holding my breath.
