(only ONCE will I use this icon and it's because of the amazing Winnie the Pooh gifts!: Image --> :minnie: ME.)

The other Crystal (MinnieMe) on this forum was my Secret Santa! It was soo fun opening the box and unwrapping the presents! Thanks soo much for the Winnie the Pooh gifts (keychain, snowglobe, & photo holder)! And thank you very very much for Eloise at Christmastime [because Best Buy lied to me and said the Christmas Eloise DVDs would be here in December, but it's NEVER there]!

And also thanks for the card, gift wrapping the items, and for the letter!
:float: Thanks very much, Crystal!

:santa:  Merry Christmas all and a big
Thank You To my Secret Santa JiminyCrick91 who sent me a nice package that contained Toy Story 10th Anniversary Ed.(+slipcover! ) and the cool DVD of Jack Frost, an older holiday special I remember from when I was a youngster. Its in that classic stop motion style and features Robert Morse and is narrated by Buddy Hackett. Thanks so much Skyler, and take care.
Jules: You know the shows on TV?
Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?

That's good to hear. I'll let you know when it gets to me. I'm looking foward to seeing what it is.

Yay!! I'm glad you liked them. I had a hard time with you because you didn't have many DVDs on your wish list!! I had seen the Eloise one at Best Buy right after you posted your wishlist so I figured I'd get it later (after I got paid) and went back.. didn't have it. Went to TWO other best buys- no luck. I looked everywhere for the stupid thing!!! Finally Target had it. Since you didn't have many other DVDs on your list (heck, none I had heard of  ) I went for the little Pooh extras. Didn't see any Stitch stuff out there I liked but Pooh was everywhere!

Glad you liked them and sorry they were a little late :D

JC91, your name's Skyler? That's a pretty rare name! I always found it unique, and want to name one of my kids that (first or middle name).

Anyways, today started out hurriedly, because I woke up late and came in late for my final exam in theatre. But I finished the easy thing in like 10 minutes, and me and my usual group of friends waited in the hallway for all of us to be done, so we can hang out in the little theater like we usually do.

Since it was our last day together, we agreed beforehand to do a Secret Santa (limit $10), and two weeks earlier, we put our names in my tacky tourist hat (which looks like an Indy Jones hat), and drew names. Of course we talked to everyone else about who got who, and exchanged names and stuff.

Anyway, all 10 of us are there (Me, Pat, Vicky, Missy, Amanda, JP, Joe, Will, Kim, Cathy), and we exchange gifts, and it turns out Kim and I got each other, lol! I got Kim the single-disc version of The Outsiders, which it turns out everyone wanted, and Kim got me...get this...The Indiana Jones Trilogy (in VHS, which is kickass because it comes with the Young Indy Jones tape!). It was a huge in-joke with everyone, because my nickname is Indy (because of my hat), but also a really great gift because even though I love the movies, I've never owned them until now.

Anyways, we had a lot of fun hanging out in the little theatre one last time, and one by one we all left for other things (go home, take an exam, go to work, etc.). I was probably the 5th one to leave, and when I got home, my mom told me to get the mail. So I go to the mailbox and get our stack of mail, and included is this manila envelope with a few Disney stickers on it! I immediately think, "Oh great, more stuff from the College Program", but then I look and see it's from someone I don't know at all!

Anyways, I go up to my room, open it, and find a nice card, and a DOUBLE-WRAPPED present! The double-wrapping was pretty funny, because once I finished taking off the wrapper, there was another one!

Anyways, THANK YOU Tinkerbell, for The Sound of Music: 40th Anniversary Edition, and the wonderful card! :pink:

You see, I intentionally didn't 'mention that because a month ago while you were at the hardware store buying more duct tape, I was able to sneak in, get a lock of Jack-Jack's hair, and sneak out. You are very welcome Escapay! Glad you like it. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

By the way, the reason for the double wrapping was because you could see through the paper when I wrapped it the first time. :)

Merry Christmas

Got a note the other day saying I'd missed a delivery. Finally got the chance to go into the city centre today to pick it up. I was very excited when the man handed me the large box.

Thankyou Lucylover1986 for the Constantine: Original Sins Graphic Novel featuring the first nine editions. Just started reading it.

Merry Christmas to you too. :santa:

I'm glad you like it. The shipping cost was more than I thought it would be so I had to settle just on that.

Merry Christmas to you also!

I just got my Secret Santa gift! Mermaid :ariel: Kelly sent me the Jumanji Deluxe Edition (which also includes a movie ticket for me to see what this Zathura business is all about), a very cool stuffed Christmas carol-singing cow that will provide me plenty of festive amusement, and a nice little Christmas card! Thank you very much, Kelly! Your present came at a very nice time to liven my spirits after a bad day (see the Last Day Before Winter Break thread). :D :D :D :santa:

So enjoy your new WDT set! Like I mentioned in my letter, I recommend Mother Pluto - it's nothing short of adorable! The 1939 Ugly Duckling is quite cute, too. I'm glad you enjoyed deathie's letter - he wanted to contribute to the gift, and he likes your inquisitive nature in general! You're the perfect "apprentice"....
Well it is just an incredible gift.... when I was posting my Secret Santa wish list, I had actually added a couple of those tins to the list after seeing a few people "going out on a limb" putting on some pretty spectacular "wants" on their list. I had put down "used copy ok" figuring, who knows, if somone has an extra open tin around they don't want and they want to knock out the gift that way, then it is a win-win... but then there was that scolding saying we should only have items on the list that were in the price range, so I quickly removed the tins from my list!

The strange thing with the tins is that I have not opened ANY of the ones I have purchased. All of them still have the shrink wrap on them and I almost feel like I will ruin them if I break the shrink wrap. I am sure eventually my curiousity will get the better of me and I'll open some up for viewing... but for now, they sit in my treasure chest still all nicely shrink-wrapped. I don't even know what the inside of these tins looks like (ok well I mean, I've never personally seen the insides - of course I've read all the posts here at UD complaining about the CD cases inside)

Even though I was not participating in Secret Santa to any degree beyond overseeing it, I got an unexpected present from 13 thoughtful participants yesterday! My Friday night surprise contained Full House: The Complete Second Season, a gift certificate to Amazon, and an extremely cool Peanuts Christmas card. What a nice gesture! I really appreciate it and I'm sure it wasn't easy to pull off with such a large group (including a Brit!) communicating only over the Internet. Sounds like Aaron deserves kudos there. You guys did very well and have undoubtedly brightened my Christmas in a great way that I'll always remember.

Thank you to Aaron W. (AwallaceUNC), Aaron B. (Zoltack), Brandon(H), Crystal (MinnieMe), Krystal (RJKD23), Joe (Wonderlicious), Davina, CJ, Tabbi (Disney Lover), Michele (Pluto Region 1), Gus (MickeyMouseboy), Lindsay (Paka), and Albert (Escapay)! To the last in that group, I'd like you to know that the requested image of Mr. Steve Guttenberg is now residing on the fridge next to the card. See here:
<img src="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/guttenberg.jpg">

Thanks to you all for pulling this Secret Santa off. It's reward enough to see the excited replies made to this thread outlining how a mysterious package came to brighten their day, but I certainly got a thrill out of getting to experience the very phenomenon myself! Such a wonderful lot of presents is truly appreciated. You guys rock!

it was that Eagles DVD I REALLY REALLY wanted. :D

However, there was no note or anything of that nature, so I'm assuming there's a Christmas card out there somewhere for me still.

So thanks to my Secret Santa (whose name I will come back and post after I get the card on Monday hopefully). :) :D :santa:
I never did get that card, however, my SS's generosity will not go unappreciated! Thanks again :D
