Tonight I made a Cheesy Beef & Rice Casserole that we put into tortillas and served with chives, sour cream and shredded cheese. It was SOOOO good!

Anyways, today we ordered Boston Market and got gyped by that Individual Meal crap. We originally were just gonna order mashed potatoes and barbecued chicken as side dishes and cook some rice at home, but we saw that they had a "Sides Meal Combo" for $4.99, where you get 3 sides cheaper as a meal than as individual side dishes. So we got that, and then at home we put each side into the side dishes we saved at home, and found that each side was about HALF of what they'd normally give you. It was still good food, though, lol.

I made Orange Squares, which are a delicious dessert worthy of a much fancier name. They're cakey and very moist, covered with a glaze of icing sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. My brother wouldn't eat any because they have carrots in them, although you would never guess by tasting them that there were any veggies in them at all.

Nope, just because. He does that sometimes. Not often, which is why it's so special when he does.
I love to cook but sometimes I'm just wiped out from work and don't feel like dealing with it.
Tomorrow night we will probably have cereal or oatmeal.
Friday night I get to have a "girls night" out so he'll have to fend for himself
