Well I hadn't planned on getting anything other than the Muppets this week, but then Target had absolutely *amazing* deals on TV sets that I just couldn't pass up, so even though I've left myself with like $1, I got:

3rd Rock from the Sun S1 - $5.99
The O.C. S1 - $5.99
One Tree Hill S1 (blind buy) - $5.99
Murder She Wrote S1 - $5.99

And then I unloaded some store credit that I had as well:

The Muppet Show S1 SE
The Muppets' Wizard of Oz
The Adventures of Indiana Jones - The Complete DVD Movie Collection

Nope! It's incredible, I know. Imagine my delight! They had lots of other sets, and if we had a better Target here, they probably would have had even more. I've read online that it was the case at quite a few (though not all) Target stores yesterday and today. People say it might have been a mistake, which, given how low the prices are, might be the case; but then there doesn't seem to be any connection between the titles that were discounted.

It is a pricing error in their system. Not all stores are affected by it, but the ones that are have sets for 5.99. It is not very wide spread so you are more likely to find your store has the correct price. I tried 2 stores in Colorado area and no luck.

No body knows. Until they fix it in their system. So far nobody has had any luck in Detroit.

I just bought Jurassic Park: DD Collector's Edition for $9.99. I also bought Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace for $12.99. Circuit City has some pretty good deals and they have the last copy of Saving Private Ryan 60th Ann. which I had to hide!
