BOLT (formerly American Dog) Discussion
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

In a few days someone will have advertisement information for when Bolt is released on the DVD Talk forum. I'm sure we'll find out then.The_Iceflash wrote:I wonder if other stores are going to have exclusives for it.SpaceAce wrote:Not sure if it's been posted before, but I was just at Walmart and saw a poster advertising the DVD and Blu-ray. It said theyr bonus for Bolt will be a Bolt comic book.
I don't mind waiting til April 12th for Bolt's Blu Ray. I just hope they don't have two different versions of the Blu Ray, like Wall-E does.

I went into Wal-mart today to get a hair cut and they had the whole display of all versions of Bolt (Blu Ray, Deluxe DVD, Regular DVD) and they also Had Lilo and Stitch 2-disc big Wave edition in the same display and it was all over the electronics....I asked a manager of electronics department and he said that Disney or a rep of Disney phoned Wal-mart and said to put out early.....Which I had the same response as to why Disney Did the wal-mart manager said....It's Probably that Disney is attempting compete with the midnight release of Twilight DVD

I printed out a coupon for $10 off Bolt so I'll be buying it myself @ Target on Sunday. I have $20 worth of GCs that I'll use to buy it.

does anyone know if there will be another bonus point offer like there was with Pinocchio?
And I won't buy BOLT until tomorrow, the official Blu Ray date.

Anyone know what the Best Buy and Target prices and bonuses (if any) are for the Bolt Blu-Ray? And do those stores have it yet? In my area, apparently some of the Wal-Marts have it already and some don't, and I did see it at Hastings. (Incidentally, I saw Twilight everywhere, but not on Blu-Ray format)
Oh, and I got the coupon too, so I'm eager to use it and save 10 bucks (though if I have to buy it at Best Buy, I'm wondering if they even accept coupons there?).

No bonus for the Blu-ray. Although if you buy Lilo and Stitch at Best Buy with any version of Bolt you save $6.slave2moonlight wrote:Anyone know what the Best Buy and Target prices and bonuses (if any) are for the Bolt Blu-Ray? Bolt Blu-ray is $26.99 at Target, and $27.99 at Best Buy. Wal-Mart put Bolt out early, but the Blu-ray release date is Sunday. The DVD versions are supposed to be out on Tuesday.
Best Buy should take the coupon. I used one for the Madagascar 2 pack not that long ago with no problems.

Thanks a bunch, DarthPrime. Guess I should have remembered to ask this, but what's the price (for just the blu-ray) at Wal-Mart. I'll probably go with the cheapest place and am not sure I want to get the 2 disc Lilo and Stitch just yet (maybe).
Edit: Nevermind, I checked online and it seems Wal-Mart also has it for the same as Best Buy. I will probably buy it at Target and hold off on rebuying Lilo and Stitch for now.

Has anyone who bought BOLT early put the code into their DMR account yet? I know someitmes, in the past, I've read of people who tried to enter a code prior to street date & it invalidated the code. If someone has entered it let us know.
I was in Toys R Us today & they didn't have BOLT or Lilo & Stitch out early BUT they did have Bunnytown.
