yeah but they rarely do that on animation titles, so I only see the 10 dollar Blu Ray offer.

Well, they haven't had that many animated titles released since they started it. Bolt had a $5 off DVD coupon...

Pete's Dragon didn't have a coupon, so I can see Disney being like, SW isn't a new movie release, so they might not give a coupon. We don't know yet. But since there is a Blu-ray coupon, it's confusing...

The $10 off coupon only works for the Blu-ray right? It doesnt work for any of the packages that have the blu-ray in it? Cause I am going for the limited edition bundle :)

You know that's a good question! You can always try and see because technically you ARE buying the Blu combo.

Idk if any of you know this, but the collector's gift set is available on Amazon.com for %40 off, making it only $150, instead of $250.

I'll have to see if the coupon still works for this. :)

As I said before, I feel screwed bout this whole re-release, I don't mind SW gettin a re-release it's great and all.... The bonus feats are pretty much upgraded with a few old fav.

I guess I'll keep my Snow White: 2001 edition till I come up with a smarter plan..

Yeah, I usually skip those sites because Amazon has the same stuff for much cheaper. Besides, it's not $50 off the SRP, it's a full $100 off, a lot more than I anticipated.

Here's a Jim Hill article bout a new book in the steps of Wicked

http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/ ... white.aspx

I'd might pick up a copy of this book along with the Diamond Edition

Ok now I know the difference between the packages. Disney is smart for doing this yet very misleading. Basically the DVD combo pack is the blu-ray version packaged into a DVD case instead of a Blu-ray case. I saw the picture today at Toysrus. Why is Disney tricking people into this? Also all the bonus features from the first Platinum Edition will be on the new one correct? So I will just buy the Blu-ray copy and hope the music video is on the DVD copy. :-)

Not ALL the bonuses from the first platinum will make it. No word yet on the old Music Video, and the tours are doubtlessly absent from this release.

Wasn't it confirmed some artist is singing Someday My Prince Will Come and there will be a music video?

I know not all bonus features wont be included because Disney never does a GREAT release like that lol. is there any word on new features? However, the first release on DVD was an awesome release though I might add. :-)

The tour sequence with Angela Lansbury and Roy Disney is not supposed to be returning for the Diamond Edition; and Barbra Streisand's music video is being replaced by one from Tiffany Thornton.

I'm sure some other things won't make it to the Diamond Edition either, but we won't know until it arrives...

Well, apart from the "Snow White Returns" featurette, which was only touched upon in the old Platinum. And don't forget the new addition to the "Disney Through the Decades" area.
