The Incredible Hulk

A very good retooling of the superhero. Norton and Tyler both give top-notch performances. I would have like to have seen more character development and a little less action, but there was enough to satisfy the film's running time. Not as good as Marvel Studios first movie (Iron Man) but still another hit for the infant studio.

A much better Hulk movie than the one Ang Lee gave us.

4/5 Stars.

I spent last week going through all 4 Die Hard movies. They were all great action films, especially the first one. I'd rank them: 1,4,3,2.

Bridget Jones- The Edge of Reason

Not as good as the first one, but still nice and Grant and Firth make up for the a little weak sequel.

The Incredible Hulk

Totally better than Ang Lee's version.

I watched Die Hard on A&E last night. The cursing was just cut out instead of dubbed-over so it wasn't as funny as I'd hoped, lol. I also caught the last halfs of Without a Paddle and Clueless.

Semi-Pro

Let me say this...I used to watch every Ferrell movie when it came out on DVD. After being severely disappointed in ALL of them, this one actually made me laugh. 6.5/10.

Camp Rock

My friend ordered Disney Channel on Demand, so we got to watch it today!!! It's really good, but it's not quite as good as the HSM films (but what is?). Very enjoyable, and I'll be watching it again on Friday!!!

Also, I watched parts of HSM & HSM2.

The Sound of Music
I love this movie. Sometimes it has almost too much kitsch, but Andrews is fabulous!

Kill Bill, Vol. 1 - Tarantino at his finest. It gives you a taste of just about every genre, whether it be action, comedy, mystery, or drama. It's just loads of fun.

Kill Bill, Vol. 2 - Though the first and second are really just one movie split in two, I prefer Volume 1 to Volume 2. Volume 2 is still extremely clever, but it lacks the wit (not to mention action sequences) that Volume 1 had. I don't like how Black Mamba's real name was revealed at the drop of a hat, when they made a point to keep it a secret so long in the first. Also, I hated how Bill was killed so easily in the end. I understand that Tarantino didn't want to be predictable and have a huge finale action sequence, but that's what I wanted! I want my action sequence, damn it! :P Not as good as Volume 1, in my opinion, but you still can't watch the first without watching the second immediately afterward.

50 First Dates - There are tons of plot holes, but that's to be expected. It's a fun movie to watch when you're looking for some mindless entertainment, and I enjoy it more and more with every viewing.

Often I forget about this thread, but by a lucky chance, I remembered it!

I just watched Halloweentown and Halloweentown 2. I love those movies. The best part is you can watch them during any season of the year and they're still enjoyable. It also lead me to go to Debbie Reynolds board on iMDB, and I discovered her Hollywood museum will be opening in Pigeon Forge (where I often go) Spring of next year! So YAY! :D

Sex and the City- The Movie

I finally made it to the theater to go see this and I enjoyed it a lot!!
However I thought that the middle-part after the Big-drama was a bit too long and could have been shortened.
I loved the performances though (especially Jennifer Hudson), the dialogue and of course the costumes and the shoes!

Get Smart

Not a cinematic masterpiece by any means, but if you are looking to check your brain at the door and laugh your you-know-what off for a couple hours than I highly recommend you see this movie.

The Holiday
Not quite the season to be watching this, but this movie is too cute to be watched during Christmas time only. Classical Nancy Meyers movie and the leads do a great job with the material they're given and the score by Hans Zimmer is beautiful.
