Wow. Just wow this was a good episode. It seems Tamara is just using Neal and is a magic hungry monster. I wonder who The Dragon was. Also I found it odd that August when changed back to a human he became a boy again, instead of just coming alive, though it gives Gepetto a chance for a new life with him. Also what surprised me was that Tamara and Owen are partners in crime and that she's having an affair with Owen.

In 3 weeks there will be a documentary on ABC called, The Price of Magic. That is something I'll have to DVR. New Episodes come on April 21st.

OMG, I had such a gasm tonight! Tamara has to be Ursula! I know there’s a slight possibility I’m wrong, but I really don’t think so. Darn re-runs, I want to see what’s next now more than usual! I thought all the story threads were very interesting. These past 3 episodes have been so on point. Loving it.

Remember how Neal said Tamara didn't find Hook locked away, perhaps Tamara found him and recruited Hook after realizing they could all come to mutual agreement. Tamara offered to let Hook kill Rumpelstiltskin if he agreed to help her and Owen

I was surprised about the Tamara/Owen connection, but it works for me. You're right that Tamara likely recruited Hook, or offered to help him in some way for a price. If the character is Ursula, I almost wonder if Rumple might be the character she's after, using his son as bait (like Ariel) or maybe Belle (since she might be gullible without her memory). Maybe she thinks she can get magic through him somehow, and this might connect to how he'll make himself magical again. Which makes me wonder if Tamara might actually have been from Storybrooke and left somehow while the Curse was in place and lost her magic? Unlikely, just a thought rambling in my head.

Like you, I wonder who the Dragon was, and if he was/will be important later or not.

About August, I believe the actor has another show and won't be coming back. That's probably why they turned him into a boy so, if they ever need the character for some reason, they can use the child actor, I guess. Plus, I like that Geppetto gets another chance to raise his son, unlike a lot of other characters (like Emma and her parents, Neal/Baelfire and Rumplestiltskin).

Oh, and the next few weeks' re-runs are supposed to be "Special Enhanced" versions of previous episodes in the season. Not sure what that means. :?

That was a truly great last episode! Loved what happened to poor August and no one did anything really dumb or nonsensical! Well, except August standing too close to Tamara, when he knew what he knew about her.

I think the dragon is related to Mulan, so maybe he's Mushu?

And as for Tamara, who seems like a great character by the way, I don't see how she could be Ursula, since she said she's not from August's land, i.e. The Enchanted Forest (which if you didn't know, is what "Fairy Tale Land's" proper name is).

The Special Enhanced versions are supposedly the re-runs with behind the scenes stuff...and that's it?

Do we know anything about Tamara for sure? I wouldn't doubt she's even manipulating and lying to Owen. By the way, the names they use for characters can sometimes be a tip-off; for example, Cora's word relations to "heart"--Queen of Hearts. And checking the name Tamara, some of the meanings: the goddess of rivers and streams in ancient Britain; "palm tree"; or a literary allusion for the ambitious/vengeful character in a Shakespeare play--see Wikipedia. In fact, the Shakespeare character could be the main reason behind the name choice, considering she also has a secret lover (like Owen) who is also vengeful. In the story, the two have no pity for the daughter of the would-be Roman Emperor who took them as prisoners--the daughter is raped and has her tongue cut out. The character also has two sons who follow her throughout the story, perhaps similar to Flotsam/Jetsam. Imagining she is Ursula, maybe she was banished to the real world where she had no magic to hurt anyone.

Like I said, I could be wrong, they could be going with an underground government thing trying to locate magical characters/evidence of other worlds, or she could just be a normal person really pissed off at magic because of some backstory issue we haven't learned of. But there's so much pointing that way, imo. Her lipstick/earrings were similar, and she even said "Do we have a deal?" to August; also, the electric taser; the hot, calculating, manipulative girlfriend storyline, similar to Vanessa. And I don't know why else they would make the character so unrealistically cold/evil like a fairy tale villain, if she was just a regular person. Hmm. Of course, there are other possibilities if she’s not just a human: Tinkerbell, Calisto (from Pirates of the Caribbean/Greek Mythology), Morgan le Fay, or a character from the real world or a descendant of a character from the real world (like Dorothy, Alice, Tiana). I won't be disappointed if I'm wrong, since the speculation is one of the reasons I love the show. :P

That's what I was thinking too, also I like the ideas of who Tamara could be. Also Tasers don't usually kill people, but seeing how Ursula had electric shock balls, that could be a very big factor in saying it's Ursula and maybe she was banished to the real world, I like that theory

Well Divinity, even though I still don't think it's her, but I must admit you put a lot of thought into your theory! I cannot wait till something related to that movie appears soon!

Once Upon a Time‘s potential Wonderland-set spin-off has found its heroine.

English-born Australian actress Sophie Lowe will play Alice in the project, which is now being called Once: Wonderland.

Lowe joins the recently cast Brit Peter Gadiot as Cyrus, Alice’s love interest who has a mysterious background, and Michael Socha (the UK’s Being Human) as the Knave of Hearts, a sardonic adventurer, man of action, loner and heart-breaker.

The five-scene Wonderland presentation [see glossary] will film in Vancouver after Once wraps Season 2. The prospective spin-off is envisioned as an American Horror Story-style 13-episode standalone that would ostensibly bridge the original series’ wintertime hiatus.

I haven't seen Sophie Lowe in anything, but she looks the part. The guy is hot. :D (They really do get hot guys on OUAT, I've noticed.) I like the name they're going with for the spin-off. I hope, since this is going to be in the winter hiatus, this'll help stop any hiatuses between OUAT episodes when it comes back in the Spring--like the three-week break right now. *sigh*

Production has started on the four scene presentation to pitch the spin-off. It has also received a name change, the show will now be called Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

Also, Paul Reubens has been cast as the white rabbit:

Is that Rumplestiltskin on the left side of the cover?

Oh, and I realize now that you can call the fairy tale side of the show both The Enchanted Forest or Fairy Tale Land. Both are correct, as the litle pop-ups on the special re-run episodes called them.

D23 Presents: Once Upon A Time‘s Season Finale Surprises
http://d23.disney.go.com/news/2013/04/d ... surprises/

I've pulled some sections about the upcoming Wonderland Spin Off. Also this article may contain spoilers if you haven't watched it in the past 4 episodes roughly
Can you talk a little bit about Wonderland?

Adam: Yeah, I mean, it’s premature at this point, but other than to say that, it’s an idea we’ve had, and if it goes forward, it will exist in the universe of Once Upon A Time but be its own thing.

Eddy: Yeah, it’s kind of a romance. And in Once Upon A Time fashion, it’s also a mash-up, so it has Alice and, you know, we’ve shown you the queen, we’ve shown you the Mad Hatter, and we’ve shown you the hookah-smoking caterpillar.

Sebastian Stan [the Mad Hatter]… discuss.

Adam: We love Sebastian Stan, and we have no intention to recast that part. He’s just a very busy man right now. Our door is always open for him.
I also pulled something else that got me excited
Our door is always open for him.”
Back to Once Upon A Time, some of the characters want to stay in Storybrooke, some want to go back to fairy tale land, do we think that there’s a chance for a happy medium?

Eddy: Well, I think there will be a chance for a happy medium. Anton grew those beans for a reason, and that very thing will come into play in the last two hours.

Last year you mentioned you wanted to put in Mulan, and she’s awesome. You’d also mentioned Pocahontas and potentially Ariel. Any chance they may pop up?

Eddy: Ariel could potentially be a Season Three. We’re definitely going to meet new characters.

Adam: We don’t want to give away who we’re planning to meet yet, but…

Eddy: If you watch the finale, you can probably guess who would be there.

Last year you teased we never saw Maleficent’s body after she was killed.

Eddy: Well, we saw, and we will see Maleficent in some form in the final three episodes. In fact, I would watch this week’s episode “The Evil Queen.”

I haven't commented on the past 2 episodes, but where I would've thought the season would go out with a bang before the break, it seems more like fizzling out at this point.

I liked the past Sunday's episode, showing how fractured Regina's mind is. Sometimes she sounds like she's a young girl--particularly in her convo with SW in the past and also with Henry at the beginning ("You're the only person I have to talk to."). It also emphasized how Machiavellian/manipulative Rumpelstiltskin has been. As an aside, SW said someone taught her to survive in the forest--I'm guessing that's Robin Hood, who was shown in the episode prior.

I'm not crazy about the plot with Tamara/Owen, tbh (I kept help wondering how they know how to combat magic when they have only just found a magical place), but they could be using it to get the cast back to their home-world for next season. I have no idea what was going on with Maleficent this episode. Also, can I just say Neal/Baelfire is a real piece of work? He knocks Emma up, makes her take the fall for his crime, and then, when they finally meet up again, he has the audacity to make her jeopardize her life with Henry because he has a girlfriend? What a loser.

The previews of Wendy/Peter looked nice, btw. I'm not sure where this show will go next season. Next season could be close to being its last if it doesn't pick up; I'm not sure if that would even help at this point. Keep in mind that Desperate Housewives was canceled with ratings as low as OUAT is at right now. I'm not going to stop watching, but it does worry me.

That would suck if it gets canceled on a cliffhanger. That's one of my pet peeves.
