I defiantly suspect that John Lasseter had a hand in this teaser. Then again this year is the tenth anniversary of the Incredibles. Actually now that I think of it maybe Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles could take place in the same universe.Warm Regards wrote:PatrickvD wrote:The teaser was a bit too close to The Incredibles teaser.![]()

YES!!!!! And here I was worried that this year's drama might be Grace-less . . .disneyprincess11 wrote: Grace Randolph hated the trailer for BH6.
He didn't actually say it was fake, he just meant that just because something is on IMDB , it doesn't make it true. Or at least that's my interpretation.disneyprincess11 wrote:EDIT: According to Paul Briggs, this cast list on IMDB is FALSE:

So, Freddie Highmore is not Hiro unless the animator is lying.
Who the hell is Grace Randolph?disneyprincess11 wrote:And big, big shocker![]()

: Grace Randolph hated the trailer for BH6.
I'm very calm actually. I was just asking a very serious question. I've asked it before.disneyprincess11 wrote:^Calm down, ok?

That's why I brought her here. Every single trailer and piece of information that Grace discusses/views for Frozen, she trashes it like heck. And at the end, she hated Frozen and it was crystal clear based on her videos, that she didn't even tried to enjoy Frozen (I mean if she hates it, fine.) Meanwhile, she liked Legends of Oz and Rio 2.qindarka wrote:She seems to be brought up a lot here based on her vitriol for Frozen in the lead up to and following its release.
Yeah, but there is no need to bring her up her opinions on every little thing. She is a relative non-entity, it's not like there aren't plenty of people who dislike Frozen out there. We don't need to bring all of them up, and why should we, unless they have a particularly insightful bit of criticism.disneyprincess11 wrote:That's why I brought her here. And it sounds like the same, exact thing could happen here in BH6.
So, Patrick, that's why I brought her here.
I remember when she did a "spoiler" review of Frozen and some comments (on YT and here) were kind of nasty, especially when she brought up that Linda Woolverton should've stayed in WDAS.qindarka wrote:Grace Randolph seems to run a reasonably popular (based on no. of subs) Youtube channel based on reviewing recent movies and trailers. She seems to be brought up a lot here based on her vitriol for Frozen in the lead up to and following its release. Think she was one of the few who made a video about Frozen during the information drought we had for much of 2013, and hence managed to gain a reputation here.

It's *acting*--and *voice* acting, at that. Should gay actors be disallowed from playing heterosexual roles, too?Warm Regards wrote:And about her concern about Hiro being voiced by a white person (if rumors turn out to be true)...
Am I the only one who is agreeing with her? I think that if your character is culturally different, you should do your damndest to get an accurate voice. That's why I appreciate Pocahontas; even if some of the settlers weren't British, at the very least the native Americans were voiced BY native Americans.
I am sure there are hundreds of capable Japanase-American (voice) actors looking for jobs beyond typecasts. Supposedly Hiro is mixed race, but it's still a bit unfortunate if the rumors are true. (About as unfortunate as making the setting a conglomerate between American and Japanese cultures, when the latter is more than unique to make interesting locales.)
