Hmm, I already own Bambi, still need Tangled but I'm planning on saving my money by buying the regular BD, and have no interest in the other two.

Ah well.

The email mentions that there's an "Easter egg" hidden on the contest page that gets you three points (I know, whoop-dee-frigging-doo, but still). Anyone know wtf that is or where it is?

EDIT: Entre the word "surprise" for a whopping three points.

3 points? Why only three? bonus points were always 5. Wierd.

Because they "<3 us" and not "<5 us"...I didn't know Disney was hip with emoticons and such.

But if they really <3ed us, they's give us one or two points. Guess they're not THAT hip.

Disney Movie Rewards

Post by Christopher_TCUIH »

Is it just me or does the movie rewards have some junky prizes? I was excited to see if you can get a Disneyland ticket or something with the points but as far as my knowledge (which isn't too much haha) you can't :(

The only good thing I got from Disney Movie Rewards were some stickers they mailed me (because they were free haha)! I put one on my cell phone! haha I didn't even ask for stickers either!

Does anyone know if you can get Disney tickets with the points?

The last "We Heart You" promo opened up but it's not that great. Darn it. Hoping it was going to be a double points day.

I was really hoping for double points too...instead it's another weak lame promo...makes me wonder if we'll ever get a double points day this century

Lame. Clearly, they don't <3 us all that much.

In other news, the Bust of Flynn from "TRON" is back in stock, and I'm debating about getting it solely because there's literally nothing else I want and these points are burning a hole in my pocket.

Also deliberating the same thing. I only noticed it was back in stock after getting the newsletter today (I thought it was funny they were advertising an item that sold out last week, until I clicked through -- not even "Quantities Limited" yet!).

What's holding me back is a) it looked better in the thumbnail before I googled a bigger, close-up image, and b) I'll have to redeem a few codes to make up the difference. But, no point hoarding when the only bonus points these days are the odd 50-point extra and really rare double points offer (e.g. Tron Legacy).

I ordered it after seeing it in the newsletter. I was bummed when I missed out on the first time around and there's nothing else I really want there right now anyway. It spent most of my points but I'm sure I'll be getting more.

The potc4 movie poster looks pretty cool, I think they just posted yesterday
It's only 550 pts.

^ I know! I haven't redeemed yet, but I'll get around to it soon, probably. My guess is there is going to be some more PotC 4 items soon, so I might just hold out and see if something else comes around.

Just entered my codes for Bambi and Tangled to get the 50 bonus points each and surpassed the 10,000 points mark. Hmm, should I order more stuff or wait. I may be going to Disneyland next year and saving for the studios tour is kinda tempting. Would like to see Disney stock return as a reward. Still got a bunch of codes I haven't entered. What to do...

I ended up redeeming for Everybody Wants to Be a Cat: Disney Jazz Vol. 1. I enjoy jazz music and thought that based upon the clips on iTunes, it was a good choice. Seems like great entertaining music or music to help you get primed for a Disney park visit. Plus it's not a huge dent in my points, just in case something really worthwhile is on the horizon (or is that just wishful thinking? I guess we'll wait and see).

I too was debating getting the Tron Flynn Bust, it's kinda cool, but at the same time, I wonder if holding out for something I'd be even moreso interested in would be the wise thing to do...I dunno!

Got my return label for my damaged Chicken Little Blu-ray on Monday and sent it off yesterday. Was surprised that the new Blu-ray was in my mail box when I got in tonight. Never got a shipping notice for it, and thought I would have to wait until they got the damaged one back before the replacement was shipped.

Anyway very nice turn around for DMR, and I'm glad the new one arrived in good shape.
