I just need a minute to breathe and take this all in.
According to Production Weekly, which yes, isn’t always the most reliable, they have shared that Disenchanted will begin filming this Spring in Ireland. I can confirm that this information is 100% accurate. The news is interesting as the first film took place in New York, and it should be noted that Ireland looks like the land of Andalasia, the animated land Giselle is from.
Hmm. Does all of Andalasia get ejected into the real world or something? Or perhaps cursed into being "real" in their own world... If the latter, perhaps Giselle would return there at the end?

Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

Ireland? I can`t see any resemblance between Ireland and Anadalasia in Enchanted. The surroundings was a forest and there was nothing particularly Irish about it.
^To be honest, I don't see much resemblance between the two either. Maybe it's not Andalasia what they're going to shoot there; perhaps the family is just there on vacation, for example.
I wonder if they'll keep the same actress for Morgan or if they'll just end up recasting her. Actually, maybe Morgan won't be there at all as she's supposed to be in college or something.

^The DisInsider said Morgan (the character) would return, but that no casting had been confirmed yet. They were right about Patrick Dempsey; although it wasn't too difficult to guess he would be back, so we'll see if Morgan is confirmed or not. Personally, I hope she's not recast.
Rachel Covey is still acting, so it's possible she could return. It's hard to know sometimes. Mae Whitman didn't reprise her role as the President's daughter in the "Independence Day" sequel, even though she's still an active film and television actor.

the more news that comes out the more worried I get...possibly no animated Andalasia, next they'll announce Marsden isn't returning. And before Im told to calm down, you know Amy Adams probably cost them alot, they're gonna want to cost cut somewhere.
Yes, you should be worried. This is obviously treated as a quick thing to get new content for the streaming service and not as something that anyone REALLY wanted to do.
I can't believe that after the remakes and Mary Poppins Returns, people still have faith in Disney's live actions, especially the ones that are D+ exclusive from the start.
At least unlike the remakes or MPR, it doesn't follow an iconic movie.
What gives me some faith is that this sequel was originally planned as a theatrical release, and hopefully they're mostly using what they had already prepared. But you're right; we shouldn't have too high expectations for this, since as you said, many of their recent theatrical films have also been bad. Personally, I hope the film is good, but as I said on another occasion, I'm not too confident it will. I'm mostly excited for it because of the music and I usually like everything Alan Menken composes, so I don't think I'll be disappointed in that regard.

wait if they starting filming this spring and finish in August what about the animation? Wouldn't they have already announced something about it or what studio they're using? Does that pretty much confirm that any animation is out?
They probably have a studio in mind they're just being hush hush about it. This isnt even a hybrid like roger rabbit, so they dont need to work that closely with each other.
