Disney Movie Rewards codes

Post by Mouseketodd »

gardener14 wrote:Has anyone else had this happen to them?

My copy of So Dear to My Heart did not contain a code, so I tried to follow the official link regarding missing codes. You have to choose your dvd title from a pull down menu, but SDTMH is not listed. It is clearly included in the list of titles that are eligible and the dvd case itself says it should contain a code. How can I print a form to send in my receipt and proof of purchase if I can't choose the correct title to do so?

Is it listed in some strange location other than under "S" for "SDTMH?" I noticed Polly is listed under "D" for "DMC - Polly," and titles that begin with "The" are unconventionally listed under "T." Where is So Dear To My Heart so I can report my missing code?
This sounds related to what occurred to me when I ENTERED my SDTMH code: after entering the code, it gave me a pulldown menu to choose which of two titles this code belonged to. I believe it happened with another movie code I entered, too; both movies were DMC exclusives. I think the pulldown menu for one also listed "Enchanted."

Obviously, I selected the appropriate movie title.

If I were you, call Disney Movie Rewards directly, since you are encountering problems on the self-serve problem report.

Regarding the DVD selections for DMR redemptions, DVDs have been the only items I've opted to cash my points for. I've gotten:

Zorro, Season One
Kidnapped
Rob Roy
The Horse Without a Head
A Tiger Walks
The Bluegrass Special

So basically, the stuff that is left now is the stuff that nobody wants or can afford.

I was able to get Kidnapped and The Yellowstone Cubs using my rewards- it's been a great experience so far. I've gotten my requests within about 5 days of ordering them!

Alright, well I have 3170 points and no idea what to use them for. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll have more points (100 or more) by September with the inclusion of TLM III and possibly TJB 2 and NT1/2 Blu-ray. So if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. I just really don't know what to get from there.

And another question: do the items that I get do they come with more points or is that just the DVDs? Thanks.

I STRONGLY reccomend the six CD set of "Disneyland: A Musical History." It's fantastic, and also comes with a hardcover book. It'd 3,100 points.

And no, none of the items you order arrive with additional DMR points.

Won a contest for a second time. I won the Little Mermaid contest. Same prize as a few months ago though, an Enchanted phone call. Not to sound ungrateful but I'd rather win something decent. I play all of the contests every day.

I never win the contests. :(

I did just order the HSM mp3 player/cell phone holder- I use the Hannah Montana one for my phone, & I need one for my mp3 player.

I've recently joined this program. I think it's a great idea, and I already have my eye on a few things!

Keep trying. I won the fourth prize on the National Treasure 2 sweepstakes. I won a Mount Rushmore Free Masons medallion. Hopefully it will arrive in the mail any day now.

When they had the Jungle Book contest going, I won a virtual snow globe.

I can log in fine. However there is a problem with my wishlist. I have the DVD of Kidnapped as an item on there but there is no redeem button showing. It says quantities limited, but not temporarily unavailable. Does no redeem buton mean they are out of stock?

I'm rather annoyed. Just bought a ton of Disney DVDs this week and last, and the following didn't have their codes in them:

Eight Below
Fox and the Hound 2
Apple Dumpling Gang double feature
Son of Flubber
Iron Will
Johnny Tremain

Surprisingly, I didn't see the Homeward Bound double feature, another I picked up, on the list at DisneyMovieRewards.com. Now, I know some of the DVDs I picked up that are on the list were probably released before the program got started and maybe don't have the inserts (I have a ton of DVDs I bought before the program that I need to send off a claim for), but Fox and the Hound 2? Eight Below? Apple Dumpling Gang double feature?

Incidentally, I have a Bridge to Terabithia code to trade. I think it's worth 100 points. Looking to trade for 100 points I probably won't get myself, like most of the preschool stuff or tv show compilations (though I might get some of those, depending on what they are, like eventually the Wizards of Waverly Place DVD or the Disney Channel Holidays DVD). Anyway, my e-mail address is slave2moonlight@yahoo.com, if anyone has any to trade. Oh, I also don't buy the classic cartoon DVDs, usually, since I have all the Disney Treasures.

Yep, Disney hasn't put a lot of codes in older movies & instead they'll require you to send in the receipt & possibly the pop from the case. They figure a lot of people just won't bother & they get the sale & don't have to give the points (saving them a more expensive prize redemption). Typical.

Weren't the older movies that are referenced in the previous two posts issued on dvd before the rewards program started? I don't think Disney is being cheap. Instead, they probably have a warehouse full of dvd's that were already packaged without codes from before it was decided that they would be included in the program. It would be impractical to include codes in these older titles.
