Does anyone know which Disney films (both on DVD and/or on Blu-ray) will be heading for the Disney Vault soon?

Pinocchio will probably be going back. Too early for Snow White?

Probably. Pinocchio has been out for over a year, but Snow White has only been out for a year. So it will probably be a while longer before that gets vaulted.

I was just looking at the Disney Vault page on Wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Vault
I don't know if this is baloney or not:
In Germany and Canada, Alice in Wonderland is additionally included.
As far as I know, our release schedule in Canada is exactly the same as the US.

Can anyone tell me what year the most recent releases of The Fox and the Hound and Pocahontas went OOP?

They are no longer available for ordering on Amazon.com so I am assuming that means they are OOP. However, there was no information regarding their OOP status on the "Out-of-Print List" here at DVDizzy: http://www.dvdizzy.com/disneyvault.html

With The Fox and the Hound's 30th Anniversary this year, and the fact that it is OOP, maybe we'll get lucky with a surprise Blu-ray?

Earlier today, my sister and I were watching my VHS copy of The Lion King. My sister seemed to like it, so she had me call around to different stores asking if they had copies of the sequel. They told me that it was on moratorium. I managed to find the sequel on Youtube and I let her watch it on that.

Does anybody have any idea when The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride might be off moratorium?

When The Lion King comes out on Blu-Ray in the fall there will be a trilogy box containing all 3 movies on DVD & Blu-Ray.
Disney is awesome, and was the biggest part of my childhood.

What's planned to go back into the vault in early 2012?

I'm guessing Beauty and the Beast, but with the 3D edition coming out next month...

The last ones I remember going into the vault were Snow White and Fantasia, so I imagine Bambi and Beauty in the Beast are next? Which likely wouldn't happen for a few months, unless Bambi enters the vault solo.

Though if you ask me, the "Buddies" series should go in the vault and stay there forever.

Yeah, the last three to go back in last April were Snow White, Fantasia, and Pinocchio. I forgot about Bambi going back in in early 2012.

Did you take a look to see if Jim Henson is bound and gagged inside the vault next to Walt's frozen head?

I'm still waiting for Air Dog Quasi to be re-released from the vault.
