I'm trying to remain as spoiler-free for Toy Story 3 as possible so I haven't read a lot of the lastest posts, but I came in here to post that I got the new Jessie doll at Toys R Us last night! This is something I've been wanting since Toy Story 2 came out. My mom has a plush (made by - I wanna say - Applause) which is pretty cool, but I've always wanted a true pull-string Jessie. I love that it has the actual voice of Jessie from the movies... great idea.

Now if only they'd make a new in-scale Prospector with pull-string feature (and hopefully Kelsey Grammer's voice!) and I'd love a good Zurg toy too!

And I've decided to not buy any of the new versions of the characters I already have, because wouldn't that defeat the purpose of Toy Story? I'm fine with the old-school Woody and Rex toys from when the first one came out.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

It would be cool if I could see the new trailer for Toy Story 3, but as much as I like Pixar, I do not want to pay the money to see the first two Toy Story films in 3D.

Thanks Kyle!

The first part still saddens me, but Buzz's Spanish mode still irks me. I feel they are trying to bring back diluted Buzz again but since they did it twice, they must revert to this mode. And the thing is, Dug wasn't funny at all in the theater when Russell turned his collar dial and spoke in different languages. I think I'm being too nit-picky. I just really want this second sequel to be as classic as the first.

I don't know what to think about that, but I'll just say Im a bit concerned for the same reasons. do we really need a third dilluted buzz? it seems like they might be using him as a crutch. is enlightened Buzz not interesting enough to carry a role through an entire film? it feels like they just needed something to counter the more depressing themes and using him as comic relief.

That said though, I cant deny it does look funny so I guess it does serve a purpose. and frankly I dont expect it to take too long before he is put back to normal mode again.

I like the new trailer, looks very interesting, for a min I thought the Pre-school kids would be mini verisons of Sid. I also agree bout having deludded Buzz back for a 3rd time, hopin the spanish mode is used mediumly. Didn't expect to see the new Andy to look so "Life-Like" it was incredible thanks for sharin the trailer

So I wonder who they got to do the voice of Slinky Dog, he sounded pretty good to me!

Thanks so much for sharing that, Kyle!!!!! I looked a day or two ago on YouTube and couldn't find it. I love it. I'm so excited. Like everything Toy Story-related, apparently, I laughed, I cried. Good times. Can't wait!

I did not have the sound on, but the movie sounds pretty good (even though it may not top the first two).

Just saw the trailer and...WOW! Pixar has definitely learned to animate humans properly. They look so much fluid now. They don't look like undead mannequins anymore.

As for the first few minutes... I admit I got a lump in my throat watching how Andy eventually grew up. But now I wonder what's going to happen next!

Yeah, I noticed that too. I remember seeing the humans before and thought the same thing. The toys were more animated then the humans. But then again the humans weren't the main characters and they spent far more time and money on the toys, who were the stars. But they have made some definite advancements.

Besides...in all truth, I am sure Pixar can make a hyper-realistic Final Fantasy style film...but that's not Pixar's style. Though parts of Nemo looked real and backgrounds and such of Cars as well. But they have improved in the movement aspect with humans, though we've seen it before with Up, but I think its different this time because they are revisiting their roots, so the comparison between the two is very easily done.

Also, I recommend uploading the trailer to a lesser known site like Putfile or Livevideo. :)
