Strangely enough, a few theatre fans I know also complained that Idina Menzel didn't sing in Enchanted for the same reasons. They thought, why use her if you're not going to use the talent she's famous for? Of course Hans still may sing yet...BUT Disney has done this before.
Idina and James Marsden actually recorded a duet for the movie, but it was cut. Strangely enough it was the titular song - "Enchanted"

Cutting her singing did make her seem odd as a casting choice for a musical. The same can be said for Santino. I don't understand picking him if he's not going to sing, but I'm guessing he will.

Some Disney musicals have 8-10 songs if you count reprises and such. No need to freak out yet

Still annoyed that song wasn't included on the home release...

David Kawena's and Rodrigo Yborra's illustrations look much better than the official storybook ones.

I think the prominent watermark on the picture gave that away.

Haha! I didn't notice. When I find anything that has to do with Frozen on tumblr, the first thing I do is copy picture and upload on this forum. Then I look at it.

I love David Kawena!!! There's been a lot since the last Disney fan art I saw of him!! And OMG that two fan arts are gorgeous!!!!
Thank you so much for the compliment ^^but please, David Kawena's work is way better than mine :S I'm too far from him yet.

By the way, Disney Noticias Mexico (that blog, famous for its unknown sourced posts xD, said that people attending at D23 can see Frozen in full lenght, it seems it's a 90% completed version of the film... I don't believe it, sincerely. Anyone know something about it??

Oh! Source --> http://registration3.experientevent.com ... 0609731072
I'll translate it for you

Yeah, I seriously doubt it, Rod. Disney would said something about it. Plus, with everyone allowed to say stuff about it, the movie would be ruined. But, the first 10-30 minutes, like the PATF segment in the Disney 2009 expo, is possible. :)

RodyCroft, no screening of Frozen is confirmed in the official D23 itinerary. 90% of a film usually means an hour had to be scheduled.Ironically, Planes gets another screening, yet it is really close to it's release.

Btw, David Kawena's artwork is boss.I wonder if he will draw Kristoff and Hans with the same concept.

That's what I thought... A few scenes is OK, but not the whole movie!!!

By the way, Is someone here attending at D23??? It would be great to have informers for this forums hahaha.
As I said months ago, I went to the Annecy film festival, but nothing about Frozen were shown there =( But I had the chance to meet Brittney Lee and talk to her almost everyday haha (crazy fan boy), I couldn't get any info of the movie but it was great anyway :)

From https://d23.com/the-walt-disney-studios ... expo-2013/
Fans can expect appearances from Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel (Frozen), Dane Cook (Disney’s Planes), Jason Schwartzman and B.J. Novak (Saving Mr. Banks), Ty Burrell (Muppets Most Wanted) and top Marvel and Disney•Pixar talent. And in typical D23 Expo fashion, fans can also anticipate surprise appearances from more of their favorite stars.
So, the musical performance must be their duet. Hoping someone records it. :P And I don't see a screening of Frozen, so we can rule that out.

Cute... but WAY too blonde, don't you think? :( It should be a lot lighter. This just lumps her in with Cindy, Aurora and Punzie...

I was hoping that too but...nothing allowed :( People are checked before getting in. Hopefully one of "The Rotoscopers" will go and I hope we would have Chelsea singing this like she did with "Let It Go".
However, I don't really think it'll take too long for the soundtrack to be leaked or actually released (Although they usually realease it the same month the movie comes out o kind of closer so forget that) They are really working hard on it so I think hope by the end of August/likely by the beginning of September with the release of the American Trailer they'll show somenthing (at least ten seconds! I'm ok with just that!).
Besides, by the end of August I'll be on a trip and information (pictures, videos, good suff) about The Sims 4 will be being released the same day I start this trip, so I won't be able to see anything. I'm not really lucky, but I hope that happens with Frozen too :)
Meh, just my hopes, dying for that music
