Yes it did. I am a fan of the Red Queen, the White Queen as well as of the Mad Hatter, and also of the Alice in Wonderland page. But the "exclusive" content revealed on the Mad Hatter's page today was not all that exclusive since it was the last picture already discussed in this thread;)blackcauldron85 wrote:Did the Mad Hatter's Facebook fans page win the exclusive content? I'm a fan of the White Queen, I think (I haven't been on the page in months)...

....Well that's disappointing.
And I'll bet his other two "morsels" are just other parts of the picture, since that one only shows the Cheshire Cat, the two queens, and the Tweedles....
C'mon, Mad Hatter, give us a break!

That was just lame. I felt sorry for Disney when the teaser trailer leaked because that was done underhandedly. The Alice pic is different because it's easily available in AMC's Disney movie guide booklet, which is how people are scanning it. Why the heck would Disney give something to people Friday when they've been hyping it up online for Monday? Obviously there was some miscommunication in their marketing department. They owe us. Big time.

Wait... he says he has 3 "morsels." Perhaps the next one is the second half, and the third one will be a new trailer! It could just be to raise the hype, prolong the excitement Ryan-Seacrest-style. Of course, that may just be wishful thinking.....

Ok so we've finally got all three official posters via the Mad Hatter on Facebook. I suggest EVERYONE "Like" the last poster posting because as the Hatter said:
"Although you've made me late for a VERY important date, I'm still appreciative for those of you who truly are the most wonderful subjects. For trying to help me reach my goal, I will share this last piece. Maybe if we had achieved my goal, I might have shared more - but, one can never tell what else is in store..."
And the Red Queen instructs us to "Like" it as well:
"It looks as though the Mad Hatter is very close to revealing more from Alice in Wonderland! If you haven't already, I demand you go Like that other poster so we can see what else he has to share!"
Nothing guaranteed, but it's a chance... GO LIKE IT!!!!

When I read that comment from the Hatter, I felt like slapping him, but then convinced myself that he was probably just being facetious. Now that the Red Queen is encouraging people to like the last poster, though, it seems his comment had more substance than I thought. I'll do anything for the promise of new content, especially if it's a new trailer. Why do you torture us so, Disney?

Maybe it's to bring us into the Mad Hatter's persona more? Like this is the kind of crap he would actually pull? I don't know, it seems pretty obnoxious to me!

I like the new posters, especialy Alice's poster, think represents the film very creativly and shows a hint of wonder.
Today I found out that Sci Fi's gon'na follow "Tin Man" with another classic story revamp, not surpisingly it's Alice In Wonderland (probaly tryin to clash with Tim Burton's Alice) this verison will be a miniseries permering Dec. 6th-7th 2009
In the miniseries, Wonderland is an outlandish city of twisted towers and casinos built out of playing cards, all under the rule of the Queen of Hearts (Bates). The White Rabbit is a secret organization that works for the Queen of Hearts and abducts people from the real world, so they can gamble in the Queen's casino. Once people are kidnapped, they are referred to as "oysters," and play in the casino so their emotions can be drained by the Queen. These drained emotions serve as the currency of Wonderland. Alice Hamilton (Scorsone) is an independent twenty-something who finds herself in Wonderland after the man she loves is kidnapped by the White Rabbit, but the Queen is not very happy about Alice’s arrival.

Huh. I don't know, I really enjoyed "Tin Man," but I think that might top it for outlandishness.... Ah well, perhaps it will be interesting...

Knowing Tim Burton, his should be able to beat the SciFi production hands down. Not dissing SciFi or SyFy or whatever, but, come on! It's Tim-freaking-Burton!

I'll check out Syfy's Alice miniseries since I'm curious, but I'm keeping my expectations in check. I liked Tin Man but didn't love it. Even for a miniseries, it was way too long and meandering, especially for such a simple story. The whole "this is remake and a sequel...at once!" thing unnecessarily muddled up the story and made the connections between it and the original confusing. They should've just called it a remake (or re-imagining, in this case) and be done with it. Luckily, Alice is going to be a lot shorter, but it seems like it, too, is going to be another sequake. Let's see if they handle it in a more logical manner than Tin Man dd.

I really like it, even though I think the Mad Hatter and Alice should switch places (it is HER story, after all). I also think the tiny background Hatter on the left should be replaced by the March Hare and the Dormouse. And why exactly does the Hatter look more airbrushed than the rest of the humans? Still, it's a gorgeous poster/banner/whatever it is, and I hope the final theatrical poster has a similar style to this.

Here's a trailer for Sci Fi's Alice film, judging by the looks of it, quite interesting and different from Lewis Carrol's tale.

According to the viral Facebook pages for the film, the new trailer will debut next week. Now, when next week remains to be seen. I think it's safe to say that we'll see it with Avatar, but the question still remains of when it'll debut online. The Mad Hatter's Facebook status says...
"Why, my watch is exactly 2 days slow! No bother, we in Wonderland know exactly when the new trailer will appear... and I'll share hints with you, mad subjects!"
The Red Queen says...
"Well, hello! I'll offer hints, my sweets, but not without your admission of loyalty... I see the Mad Hatter has grown popular by tempting you. I can play that game, perhaps reward you with something even sweeter... hold tight my subjects, your prize will be here next week!"
The White Queen says...
"Looking back, I spoke to you regarding a new present... my mind is drifting and I can't completely recall. I suppose that's the effect of living backwards. Time is playing tricks on me, but trust me, my loyal subjects will be rewarded next week!"
Now, people are interpreting these several ways. Some say that since the trailer being in front of Avatar on Friday is a given, and the Mad Hatter's watch is two days slow, then it'll debut online on Wednesday. Others are taking it more extremely and are saying that since Sunday is the start of a new week and the watch is two days slow, then the trailer should be coming online tonight.
Between the two, the Wednesday release sounds more logical. I can't see Disney releasing this online the same day it debuts in theaters. That makes the reveal slightly less special and makes the hype uncalled for. I can't see them releasing it tonight because if that were the case, it'd be attached to The Princess and the Frog. That obviously hasn't happened, and Disney won't release a new trailer the same day as a big theatrical release of theirs unless the two were attached. Otherwise, they're stealing each other's thunder.
So, until the three leaders give us clues that indicate otherwise, I'm considering Wednesday the official premiere date for the theatrical trailer.
