Anybody getting one of those that doesn't do DMR I could really use that code. I'm only 550 points away from a prize I want & you never know when something is going to go out of stock.

Can you have 2 codes from one movie on Disney Movie Rewards?

Post by drfsupercenter »

OK, I just signed up for Disney Movie Rewards since I bought a few of the Platinum Editions for my collection and was bored earlier.

I have a few friends who have movies like National Treasure 2 on DVD and aren't using their Movie Rewards codes... but can I redeem them if I redeemed one already? Does the system care if you redeem two or more codes for the same movie, provided they're different codes?

Because if my friends don't want them, that's more for me :D

Unfortunatly you can only redeem one code for each title.

But, you can redeem two codes if for instance you buy "National Treasure 2" and "Nation Treasure 2: Collector's Edition."

Same with Blu-Ray. You can redeem for the DVD, plus the Blu-Ray version.

Hope that helps! :)

Well I know a few people with the 1-disc version. I actually don't own Book of Secrets at all yet... I'll buy the 2-disc one though since I always buy the most discs available

Oh well, that sucks... All those codes, no one to use them... I suppose I could give some away on the Trade board...

Whatever you do stay away from the tv/dvd combo's. They are worse than you can imagine. You can look any of them up at amazon & read what the people who've bought them say. It's borderline pornography what they say about 'em.
Thanks for the advice. That's the way I was leaning and that's what I decided to go with. I know I'll enjoy it and it's something I actually looked at buying so to get it for free will be great. The collector in me was just looking at the price of the figurines as opposed to the value I'd get from them.

Yippee. My Wall-E stubs posted at DMR. With the points I'll get from College Road Trip on Tuesday I'll be able to get the Mowgli & Coy Girl sculpture I've been saving for. Fantastic.

I see the Snow White sculpture I wanted that's been out of stock for a couple of months has now been taken down. I should've gotten that earlier instead of the Mr. Invincible but I had no idea it would sell out.

I got the Disneyland DVD set yesterday, five days after requesting it. Anyways, I've been able to listen to the first four discs and I highly recommend this set to anyone that enjoys the history, rides, and music of the parks. It's a great presentation. I'm hoping we eventually get something like this for Walt Disney World especially the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

Shipping left a lot to be desired but it thankfully arrived in great shape and in one piece.

During the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland, when the "celebration" was stretched to cover all Disney parks, there was a two-cd set produced for WDW that contains much of the music that is lost from the parks, especially Epcot. It's not as comprehensive as Disneyland's set, but it is excellent and contains much of the music you probably are remembering. I think they have now replaced it with a new WDW set that contains less music of the past, but I'm sure you can still find it on Amazon or Ebay or similar sites.

This set (Titled WDW The Happiest Celebration On Earth) is quite encompassing by itself, with tons of old Epcot music, but along with an older official album, and the cd's of the parades, Millenium Celebration, etc. I feel like I have a very complete collection of WDW music.

After trying the National Treasure 2 Book of Secrets contest pretty much everyday, I finally won!

I got the fourth prize, the Mt. Rushmore medallion.

In the email I received from DMR, it says the medallion will be arriving in 8 to 10 weeks. 8) :D

Anybody else win yet?

Edited to add: I just read in the email I got from DMR that the contest is going until September 30.

Thanks for the information and I'll definitely have to search for this one.

They've cut out a sh#*load of prizes. ALL sculptures are gone except Mowgli & Coy Girl & Lightning & Jesse w/ Record Player Base. It looks like a freaking ghost town. Half of the pages of prizes are GONE. I wanted to get Mike & Boo to go with my Sulley & Randall sculptures but poof they are gone. Something serious going on with DMR.

They got rid of some DVDs too! I wanted to get Treasure of Matecumbe, but I'm still awaiting 200 points from my WALL*E tickets. Treasure is off the list along with others like Yellowstone Cubs and Zorro. What gives Disney? :x

Wow. I was collecting points for the Zorro set. This is very disappointing.

Wow, I'm stunned!

Last night, I checked to see if any new DVDs had been added to the offerings. My wish list already contained "Yellowstone Cubs" and "The Fighting Prince of Donegal."

I have enough points to get "Donegal" (It costs more points then "Cubs".), but thought I'd sit tight to see what else might come along -- it's just that I thought these two titles would still be available!

Hopefully, DMR will add some more titles to the inventory, just to freshen up our choices.

I hope they'll be replacing them with other DVDs. I wasn't really too interested in the ones they had, save for a few.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

My copy of So Dear to My Heart did not contain a code, so I tried to follow the official link regarding missing codes. You have to choose your dvd title from a pull down menu, but SDTMH is not listed. It is clearly included in the list of titles that are eligible and the dvd case itself says it should contain a code. How can I print a form to send in my receipt and proof of purchase if I can't choose the correct title to do so?

Is it listed in some strange location other than under "S" for "SDTMH?" I noticed Polly is listed under "D" for "DMC - Polly," and titles that begin with "The" are unconventionally listed under "T." Where is So Dear To My Heart so I can report my missing code?
