If you go threw all the other post, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO DOES THAT! Thank you very much!
God please give it a rest!
In addition to what Luke said, I already made a general post about this to everyone two days prior ( http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... 495#247495 ). Your posts were the only ones I have noticed that continue to do it.

Ok let's see, in this page alone I see:
Jordan, MerXAN, Aladdin from Agrabah, ~Kronk~ and, roswellian

Who did the same thing as well.
So why was I just singled out?
I am SURE you could have used one of them and take a look back on this thread as well, I could pull up a WHOLE list.

So make a NOTE to "everyone" not just me!

I think it's been made pretty clear several times now that, being in a public forum, the message was addressing everyone and yours just happened to be the lucky one picked as an example of what not to do.

Can we (meaning "everyone") return to the original topic at hand - The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Jordan wrote:No, I'm not wrong, you are. All the Platinum Edition releases in the UK had a 2 disc release (even though a single disc release of the movies also came out at the same time).

Beauty and the Beast had a "2 Disc Collector's Edition" in a very elegant and gorgeous digipack; there is photos in the forum. Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp were also "2-Disc Special Edition" in the UK... If you go on amazon.co.uk or any other online merchant, you can verify that I'm not wrong.
I think you misunderstood. Because I was talking about Region2 and you replied to me about UK only. There are other countries in R2 like Italy, Finland, Germany, Greece and many other European countries that never received a 2-disc edition of Beauty and The Beast, Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp.

About this " 2 disc editions"...you guys are so lucky...here in brazil the last 2 disc dvd that Disney released were both Bambi and Tarzan...
everyone got crazy when we find out that disney was going to release a single edition for Cinderella...( look at that: Cinderella, the most wanted disney dvd and they decided to do that! :x ) In may, we had a single disc edition for Lady and the Tramp too..and now The Little Mermaid is being edited ...can you belive in this?????they have no respect for their fans....so no big hopes for our Platinum editions.... :(

What do you mean about Mermaid "being edited"? With the film's enormous popularity pretty much in every corner of the world, I can't see it released as a single disc... It's probably going to be one of the few that will be a 2-disc edition in most places.

I just don't like being singled out and made the example when I honestly didn't do ANYTHING to hurt anybody here!

Anyway back on topic! :)

Should I wait until the new DVD is out to do the Skye Sweetnam Part Of Your World video or just use the DVD we have now of the little mermaid?

We don't know yet. My guess is the filmmakers. (director, producers, animators.)

Well, as I was speaking only about the UK in my original post and as you quoted this one, I figured you also meant only the UK. I never talked about other country than the UK, talking about the "Platinum Editions" in my original posrt on the subject.
And in your first reply you said that none of the R2 DVDs for the 3 movies you referred to, had 2 discs, which is not true as a whole, since the UK does have 2 discs, as well as France and other R2 countries.

But, indeed, some other European countries, do not all have 2 disc DVD for all Platinum titles, as you mentionned.
Chandler (to Phoebe, over the phone) : Listen, Joey isn't gonna be here tonight so why don't you come over and I'll let you uh.. feel my bicep; or maybe more...

I'm glad that here in Asia, we always have 2-disc releases for the platinum editions.

Since no one bothered to answer me, and I couldn't wait till the Platinum Edition anyway

I stayed up half the night working on Skye Sweetnam Part Of Your World video! I still have to do a few more finishing touches to it, but it looks awesome! My favorite so far in all the videos I did to date. I brightened up the clips from Part Of Your World and I had to correct them because I made them to washed out looking lol. I brightened them to much. I was really looking at the Ariel's cabin because I never saw all the stuff she has on the TV lol.

Yeah, so I expect Disney to be doing some serious remastering for this movie! It surely needs it. :)

I should have the video up and running tonight. I will make sure to put a link in this thread so you guys can view it and tell me what you think! :)

The video & colors are perfect, not bad at all. But geez Skye stinks! Ugh!

I saw her at a radio show too here in Buffalo put on by KISS 98.5, the local station. She needs to stink to her own songs.

I thought I did a good job on the colors to.
Before is WAY to dark. If you do a search on Youtube people used the same DVD I did and you can see the difference. :)

@271286 thank you very much! :D
I could have used your help in the restoring part of the movie LMAO,
You did a great job on those pictures! :)

I've never seen Old Yeller. I have the VHS, but I've never seen it.

I sure hope so. I'd love to have Mr. Musker & Mr. Clements (they did a great job on the Aladdin commentary). I'd also like Andreas Deja, Glen Keane, & any other animator that worked on TLM. I don't know who the producer is, but I would like him/her to also be on the commentary.
