You mean the other word right? lol so Disney uploaded the Lion King's Diamond Site, with confirmation that Simba's Pride and 1.5 will only be part of the 8 disc set
damn you Disney, the site also confirms bonus feats for both Simba's Pride/1.5

I know bout the sfx thing, just tryin to be sarcastily funny, but guess it didn't work.
Still don't see a problem with Muffasa's Ghost sequence, the waterfall seems bet'ter than the vhs, which untill now, I didn't noticed that Nala is almost hidden by the fall.

Well, I feel different. Especially when a certain version of a movie is released to the public for several years, I don't think it's fair to simply withhold the version the creators don't like because they're not satisfied with it for whatever reason. Of course, they have every right to release the version they want to, but the least they could do is give us the option. It's funny you should mention George Lucas, because there wouldn't be nearly as big a backlash as there was when he released the Special Editions if he released the original versions. Also, he stood against the altering of motion pictures during a Congress hearing about that subject, but apparently that doesn't apply to himself.SWillie! wrote:Animators always say that a film is never finished - it just gets released. So, with that in mind, when the filmmakers want to change something, I'm all for it.
It's the same argument people use for the Star Wars films. George Lucas himself WANTED to make the changes he did. I don't think anyone else should be allowed to say anything against that. If you don't like the changes, that's fine. But I don't think they "owe" us anything in the likes of giving us the original version.

Why Can't Disney get this right...in America and everywhere this applies to Disney's Artwork of movies... they need to plaster this image in their head271286 wrote:Danish coverart!
This will probably be the cover art for all the Scandinavian/Nordic countries:

You think the new ones look like cutouts? I'd say the original ones look like cut outs, and I actually like them more because of that. the way they open their mouths originally was more stylized and intentionally flat looking. Almost UPA ish. the new ones they tired to make it look more dimensional and "proper".

As for the title, you and I both know that the Dutch Bambi is horizontal as well, so we'll get it like that for Lion King too, I'm sure
When it comes to brains, I got the lion-share,
but when it comes to bruth strength, I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool
