Aladdin from Agrabah's Fanart
When I saw Phoebus' face, my brain said "wow"! And I know I say wow too much...but I can't help it, it's so impressive! Looks just like a movie still, you get everything so perfect. You do look at something while you're drawing, right? Like, you have on the TV or printed out some shots of the character to look off of? I know that's what I need to do and it takes me a while to get it right just on paper!

Thanks, guys, I'm flattered.
Disney Duster, yes, of course I look at the character while I'm drawing. If I want to draw Phoebus on a piece of paper just for fun, of course I won't look at it, it's really exhausting. And I get most of the characters right even without looking at them -how could I not, that's what I do since I was born... sort of- but when I want to do it in order to present it in the UD forum or DeviantArt I want everything to look right.

Just when I had been thinking of bumping this to ask what you were up too.
I like it, but it's not as WOW as most of your other works. Eric's hair is kind of weird. But it's better than any characters drawn in a certain trailer...
Sorry, I'm trying to be honest, not mean in any way.
But more than this art, I'm just glad to see YOUR back doing what YOU love and WE love!

And the Tarzan one...awesome! I like the background myself. Amazing what you can do on Bitmap/Windows Paint
Aladdin and Eric is so cool too

Thanks for commenting guys, I truly appreciate it!
Disney Duster, don't worry, I always try to be honest with myself too and I think you're right, this is nothing special. As for the hair it was made bigger intentionally, I like big hair!
UmbrellaFish I'd be very interested in reading your fanfics about Eric! Will you post them somewhere?

I haven't posted it yet (there's only one story about Eric so far), but when I do it will be on littlearielforums. I've been playing around the idea of TLM and Gargoyles crossover. I've already posted one story, and I've written two others. I'll PM you when I get my Eric story up.Aladdin from Agrabah wrote: UmbrellaFish I'd be very interested in reading your fanfics about Eric! Oh, I like this one a lot! There's a lot of expression and I think he's more passionate in his dislike than in the film version. Somehow the mood of this is ...more negative. The way you did the shadows (and that you used darker colors) make it look like he's staring into a fire, or some light source. It feels a little uncomfortable since he's looking at an innocent baby. It would be interesting to see a picture similar to this with everyone staring at Maleficent, with Maleficent as the obvious lightsource. It's only a suggestion, not a request. I think something that also adds to the picture is things are cut off to focus on Phillip, that always makes pictures more creepy or mysterious, when you can't see everything. So if I did Maleficent I'd probably only show part of her and then everyone's faces. But like I said, it's only an idea I had.
That's an example of how your work is inspiring. Good job, Al from Ag!
