They had quite a few of the treasures(most from Wave 5 and 4, but a couple from Wave 3) at Main Street at Disneyland!

So that's the answer to your problems, if you find out your Best Buy doesn't have any, go to Disneyland! :P

The only thing I need from Wave 3 is MM in Color V2 but hey didn't have it at Dland when I was there on June 30th....

Timon/Pumbaa fan, did you see Color V2 when you were there? When were you there?

I recently picked up MM B/W Vol 2 and On the Front Lines(finally). But I still need 7 more:
1. Silly Symphonies
2. Davy Crockett
3. MM in Living Color Vol 1
4. Spin and Marty
5. Elfaga (sp???) and Swamp Fox
6. Mickey Mouse Club
7. MM B/W Vol 1

Thanks for the info, I already knew something was up at my local best buy but never thought of other stores
Yeah Disney!!!

Somehow I missed buying Mickey Mouse in B&W Vol. 1 when it was available. What was I thinking? I probably had heard that someone got it for me for Christmas or something and then overlooked it. I just realized recently when I tried to watch it that I DON'T HAVE IT! I hate when that happens.

Sounds like you got almost all of them from the old Waves (except for MM LC V1, Silly, and Davey) so you are in good shape! These other from Wave 5 are easy to find- I usually see them just about everywhere. If you live in So. Calif., I recommend trying Tower Records, as I've bought several tins there, including all of Wave 5 from them.

I've got the first three waves, I knew I would be able to find wave 5 easily enough, but I was starting to get worried about wave 4...

Tomorrow is payday, so maybe I can snag a few of the ones I am missing!

One thing I am disappointed about is that they took off the blue band, and took the printing off of the back of the tin, on waves 4+ :(

I was there on August 1st. And yup, there were about 6-8 copies of MMILCV2 when I was there, with tins.

I must warn you though, the treasure I got had a couple of very small dents on the tin. :D

I think in fact the last beef I had with Amazon over dented tins, involved this very one! I returned it because it looked like someone had sat on it. When we are talking rare Wave 1, 2 or 3, I am glad to have with or without the dent, but I'd hoped to buy the later ones without dents. At this point, that particular Tin is getting pretty rare and hard to find; I may have to buy one with a dent....

I'm only missing three:
Silly Symphonies
Goofy
MMIB&W Vol. 1

Unfortunately two of them are the most expensive treasures.

I know the feeling!

But at least you only have to concentrate on 3 tins; my list is a little longer. I've got tuition and other concerns at the moment, so my collection will have to wait.

I managed to find MM in B&W vol. 2, and Elfego Baka/The Swamp Fox...

The stores in Oklahoma City have Donald vol. 1, MM in Living Color vol. 2, Tomorrowland, MM in B&W vol. 2, and Elfego Baka (north store only...)

I still need to find Pluto vol. 1 and The Mickey Mouse Club for wave 4, and Donald vol. 2, Rarities, and Spin and Marty for wave 5, but I am too broke now anyway...

Wasn't the Mickey Mouse Club in Wave 3?

Nope, a quick check of Luke's handy dandy reference shows I had Donald Volume 1 and the Mickey Mouse Club mixed up(my shelf, its in the wrong order, noooooooooooo).

Oh well, forgive me the two waves were only a couple months apart in the end.

Do the release years of the WDTs have any significance for your shelf order?
