I might treat myself to that over the weekend. Saw it in the shops last night and almost bought it.

Instead, I acquired Nighty Night - Series 1. It is a very dark Brit comedy. Not for all tastes but it appeals to me.

Next week will be a biggun...

Had a very spontaneous day yesterday, ended up at a Wal-Mart 30 minutes from my house (my usual one is like 3 minutes), and got:

St. Elmo's Fire $5.50
Friends: Season Nine $21.44 (mispriced, woohoo!)

This week I have received:

King Kong Collectors' Tin (US R1)
King Kong 2 Disc CE (Fr R2)
The Wizard of Oz 3 Disc (UK R2)
The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection (UK R2)
The Muppet Show S1 (UK R2)

Why 2 King Kongs you ask? Well the first is the tin with "gubbins" (but too be honest the "gubbins" is weaker than the Oz "gubbins", but the tin is nice and chunky) and the second has Son of Kong and, more importantly, a 20 minute interview with Joe Dante. Forget Peter Jackson, Dante is the man. Word.

Interesting notes: The R1 set opens with the overture. The French set opens with the BBFC Censorship rating card. Oddly, so does the French edit on the set, which is 10 minutes shorter.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Robin Hood! I purchased the B&W version of Bewitched S1 ($22) and I watched all the episodes and the "features" they put on there..I like it! Silly me, I remember watching that show when I was younger and I remember wishing I was like Sam!

But I'm still tempted to purchase the colorized version! :shifty:
Can't wait to get Bewitched S2 from DDD!

I got Madagascar. I wasn't going to get it but my new People magazine had a $3.00 off coupon for it so I bought it. It came with a coupon for War of the Worlds so I'll be getting that this week.

And I'm sure we'll have probably 10 ignorant naysayers going "WHAT? WHY ARE THEY RELEASING COLORIZED ONLY VERSIONS OF BEWITCHED SEASONS THREE THROUGH EIGHT????"

Used my Reward Zone Card, to get the points.

I picked up:

The Golden Girls: The Complete Third Season

and

War Of The Worlds: 2-Disc Limited Edition (with free War Of The Worlds: The Shooting Script book, which is AWESOME).

I will put the other two releases (King Kong: 2-Disc Collectors Edition, and Polar Express: 2-Disc Special Edition) I wanted on my Christmas Wish list.
