The film would not make sense of they censored the crows. (Even if they did, they'd have to remove the roustabouts too).
I'd rather have a disclaimer any day. It's like how the more questionable cartoons on the Treasures sets were given similar warnings from Leonard Maltin. He similarly explained the cartoons were a product of their time and it would be foolish to judge them by today's standards.
If only they could use that for Song of the South.

Tell that to James L. Brooks and Al Jean, who were responsible for removing the classic Simpsons episode Stark Raving Dad from circulation.
Well, I'm not doing Disney Plus for "The Simpsons", so it really doesn't matter to me.

Does anyone know if we're "allowed" to log into Disney+ from someone else's device? If I go to my parents' house and log in on their computer or TV, it's really me logging in; I know that password sharing is frowned upon, but I'd just be watching it with them at their house; my dad even said they won't login when I'm not there. I just couldn't bear it of Disney canceled my account for this, you know?

(And I just started watching "The Imagineering Story"- so far, so good, even if it's just an overview so far. Seeing the visuals, the footage, with the story is a great experience. The interviews with people involved in the making of Disneyland is super interesting. It's like the story is told in a new way. And so far, even just 17 minutes into the first episode, I'm learning a few things. I definitely recommend this show!)

So having finally gotten access to Disney Plus, I noticed that "The Princess and the Frog" is still around, even though five days before, it was scheduled to be pulled from the service. Where did the rumor of its removal come from?

Disney+ has been having a couple issues. 1. Yesterday & today: It's been having the episode I just watched (at a previous time, maybe on a different TV) in my "Continue Watching," starting back at the beginning, even though I watched it all, & 2. This mornimg I've gotten an "Error: Malformed Data" error when fast forwarding due to said error, and when just selecting a show; I try again and it plays.

I like it a lot! The second episode ended on a cliffhanger of sorts (in 1984, with the threat of Disney being broken up and sold off by corporate raiders), and just as dramatic as a real cliffhanger to boot. My sister helped me install it on our big-screen TV so she could show us all the episodes of "The Mandalorian" at that time.

And I recently also watched "Dumbo" just to revel in the fact that the crows are in fact still around.

The funny thing is, I've seen articles online that stated that people watching these movies now are none too pleased about the movies' "outdated cultural depictions", like this one: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ ... ps-1255284.

It also brings to mind an article where they basically used sarcasm to call out this criticism, as Lily Singh has done: https://variety.com/2019/digital/news/l ... 203413439/.

In any case, I'm glad they're not edited. Like I said, my first real movie (outside of "The Mandalorian" and "The Imagineering Story") was "Dumbo", and that was after I found out that it was not edited, and I decided to revel in that knowledge.

It will be debuting in most of (western) Europe on March 31, 2020. Not just France, but also other (western) European countries, including Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain.

According to what other information I have found, the French release of Disney+ is or will be exclusive to Canal+.

Neat article. Can anyone explain this part though.

Roughly 22 percent of Disney+ subscribers among all age groups say they watch classics the most on the platform, topping those who cite Star Wars (21 percent), Marvel (15 percent), Pixar (14 percent), Disney Channel (9 percent), The Simpsons (5 percent), National Geographic (3 percent) or Disney+ originals like Christmas movie Noelle (2 percent) as their top viewing choice, a Hollywood Reporter/Morning Consult poll finds.

That is across all ages but then the article also says this...

Across all ages, 38 percent of Disney+ subscribers said they frequently watched Pixar content, more than Disney classics (37 percent), Star Wars (33 percent), Marvel (32 percent), National Geographic (17 percent), Disney Channel (18 percent), The Simpsons (16 percent) or Disney+ originals (14 percent).

So how are Disney Classics winning in the first quote but Pixar is winning in the second quote when it comes to viewers of all ages?

Probably runs like this:

The first quote might be referring to one's main choice of individual program, while the second quote might be referring to the frequency of watching certain programming types.

For example:

I might be particularly interested in watching...let's say, Beauty and the Beast as a single program...but overall, I might lean towards Pixar product as a whole.

The reason why some titles have left Disney Plus.
A spokesperson for Disney+ confirmed to Gizmodo that a small number of titles had left the platform over issues relating to legacy deals. However, all of those titles that have left will return to the service as soon as those licenses expire.

Unfortunately, as Looper pointed out, Disney did not bother to inform subscribers of what was going on, and they felt kind of deceived when they were taken down, which led to a drop in subscriptions, especially after "The Mandalorian" completed its first season. In addition to the titles mentioned in the article, other titles taken out included "White Wilderness" and "Mickey, Donald and Goofy: The Three Musketeers". What are the legacy deals surrounding those two? Granted, I believe "The Three Musketeers" was on Netflix for a time, but I don't believe "White Wilderness" ever was, so what gives?
