Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4
Yeah, I only saw 2 and 3, but I assumed 1 would be there if I looked. Guess not. :/
I like the Muppets, but not enough to buy it myself, so getting it free through DMR would be okay, actually.

Listening to most often lately:

I'd recommend just getting seasons 2 and 3 if you have the points and want them, anyway. The season 1 set has some unfortunate edits on them, which doesn't make it entirely desirable to own until a restored set comes out.
Besides, there's not much in the way of continuity in the show, so it's not like you'll miss much if you skip season 1.

Yeah, I haven't ordered anything from DMR for a long time. I'm waiting for them to showcase something really amazing like when they put up the Kim Possible DMC box-sets. I thought they would have put the Weekenders box-sets on DMR by now. I'm surprised they haven't.

I got my copy of Ichabod and Mr. Toad today. The slipcover is nice, but there wasn't a DMR slip or storybook inside of the case. I'm not complaining though, since I got a good movie for nothing.

They're making slipcovers for old Gold Collection titles?Avaitor wrote:I got my copy of Ichabod and Mr. Toad today. The slipcover is nice, but there wasn't a DMR slip or storybook inside of the case. I'm not complaining though, since I got a good movie for nothing.

It was available through The Disney Movie Club. Here's a picture of the slipcover and the DVD on Ebay. Note that under the slipcover is the original Gold Collection Art.Jules wrote:They're making slipcovers for old Gold Collection titles?Avaitor wrote:I got my copy of Ichabod and Mr. Toad today. The image is too big to embed so I'll instead post the link to the image itself below

The UK Movie Rewards site is now beyond appalling. Logged on to pop in my TLM codes, and there is literally nothing there !

The storybook is a dvd feature, not a physical book.Avaitor wrote:I got my copy of Ichabod and Mr. Toad today. The slipcover is nice, but there wasn't a DMR slip or storybook inside of the case. I'm not complaining though, since I got a good movie for nothing.

Not sure if anyone is aware yet, but you can get 25 bonus points through the Make Sweet Memories promotion.
Also, does anyone know how long it usually takes DMR to upload your points for a missing code? I had this problem today with my Eight Below DVD (I replaced my used copy).

I didn't get anything... :/PixarFan2006 wrote:Not sure if anyone is aware yet, but you can get 25 bonus points through the Make Sweet Memories promotion.
Anyway, I went ahead and redeemed my points. The Muppets Show disappeared... But I saw they had the Tigger Funko Pop and I got that. I didn't want to buy him because he looks like he could be ugly, but getting him for free doesn't bother me at all.

I redeemed for the Tigger figure too! I have to admit that while I very much like the character, he's far from my first choice to buy, so I'm glad to use my points for something.
I may also consider Pooh, who I don't like as much, but wouldn't mind owning.

I remember there was a section where you can stream an online version of the movies you've registered. I was looking for that today, but I couldn't find it... did they remove that feature from DMR?
