I'm thinking 101 Dalmatians and Tarzan will be released in 2013 in the US. Seems pretty obvious, I think.

I think we'll be getting the following movies next year:
- Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros: 2-Movie Collection
- 101 Dalmatians/101 Dalmatians II: Special Edition
- The Sword In The Stone: 50th Anniversary Edition
- Robin Hood: 40th Anniversary Edition
- Oliver And Company: 25th Anniversary Edition
- The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition
- Aladdin: 20th Anniversary Diamond Edition
- Mulan/Mulan II: 15th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection
- Tarzan/Tarzan II: 2-Movie Collection
- Lilo & Stitch/Lilo & Stitch 2: 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection
- Wreck-It Ralph
- Aladdin II/Aladdin III: 2-Movie Collection
- The Little Mermaid II/The Little Mermaid III: 2-Movie Collection

The last remaining 12 titles will come out 2014, IMO. Hope I'm right about this...

That looks good! A tad sharper than Aristocats.

So I expect Dalmatians will be presented in Academy Ratio on the Blu-ray as on the last DVD? Funny. Weren't the post-Sleeping Beauty features supposed to be matted to widescreen?

EDIT: And oh those gorgeous, gorgeous backgrounds! :float:

Don't forget about Tarzan & Jane and Leroy & Stitch. I really don't care about these but they'll probably be released sooner or later.

another indication that Peter Pan has been dropped from the Diamond line.

So, from the looks of things, the Diamond line now looks like it consists of the original ten Platinum titles, but with Sleeping Beauty in the place of 101 Dalmatians. Whatever it gets labelled as when it makes it to Blu-Ray, I hope that Peter Pan, gets a new "making-of" documentary at least. The 1998 documentary may be informative, but it would be cool to see a new one, especially since they didn't give us one on the Platinum DVD.

I'm still not confident Sleeping Beauty and/or Pinocchio will be re-released as a Diamond Edition, and if Peter Pan is also dropped from the line, The Jungle Book would be the last release in 2014 as a Diamond. I still think Peter Pan will be a Diamond, at least in the US.

If Peter Pan has been dropped, I really don't see how can one justify the Jungle Book as a Diamond edition. Not after Pinocchio, Fantasia and 101 Dalmatians.

It's very odd that Peter Pan is getting a DVD only re-release in 2012 in the Middle East and in Germany.

The official site of WDSHE still lists Peter Pan as a Diamond edition.

As speculated, Aladdin 2 & 3 will be released on Blu-ray as a 2-Movie Collection combo pack just like Cinderella II & III.

What I'm wondering about is what will happen next...If Disney is dropping the diamond line this pretty early, what will be the next line/medium of release...I mean then there won't be any vault anymore and streaming from the internet will be the future :(

I think it makes sense for Peter Pan to come out in 2013. It is, after all, the 60th anniversary of the film's release. Aladdin should have come out this year, I feel, to celebrate its 20th. But no...

I do think Disney will release The Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Black Cauldron and Oliver & Company next year. And I HOPE TO GOD they finally get their shit together and release Hunchback and Hercules!

I hope they remaster Mickey's Christmas Carol too, and makes it a bonus feature!
