Duncan Studio didn't do the animation for Enchanted; James Baxter Animation did which is now defunct. People often confuse the two because both studios were founded by veteran Disney animators who provided services for animated/live-action hybrid films for Disney (Enchanted and Mary Poppins Returns.) Hopefully, Duncan Studio will pick up the mantle for the sequel. If they don't subcontract the animation to Duncan Studio, it's almost a given it will be subpar. I think Dempsey expressed interest in returning in the past. It's a shame they didn't ask him to direct the sequel when it seems he would've been willing to do it.
