Aladdin from Agrabah's Fanart
WOWZAH! It's a departure from Disney, you can see the Disney influence, but it's very much your style. Love the tail, which is a nice one, and I can't tell but if the fin is the kind that swims back and forth as opposed to up and down, it's more like a real fish than the mermaid tails in The Little Mermaid. I also like the seashell bra that looks more like clamshells than Ariel's ever do (I wonder what her shells are used for her bra?). Love the hair, it's flowy but has this angular quality. Of course, that could come from it being hard to make anything look perfectly round with pixels! But it's not as round and curved as Aurora's hair, more like Megara, who is Greek, so it fits!
And I'm sorry to hear you are in so much work now! I'll be honest, I never heard of having to study so much before you go to college, in the Summer! I've only ever heard of reading books for school over the Summer, here in the United States.

sotiris2006thanks, I'm glad you like her!
Disney Duster thanks. Yeah I never tried to escape the Disney style, actually I love it, I want all my characters to look like they're supposed to play in an animated film. I wanted the hair to be angular, I don't see why it has to be round, just because she's a mermaid. Like Pocahontas' hair which is angular and flowy at the same time. And yeah, she's Greek, but she has nothing to do with the series mentioned above. The trailer just raised my interest in mer-stuff again! I'm happy you like her!
As for the college, I don't have to study in the Summer just to be preapared generally for the lectures but because exams begin September 3rd! And the exam period is not over yet! That's why I'm going crazy! Thanks for your interest!

I can't believe it's the first time I make a picture of him- for the web, that is- he's my favourite hero!

Aladdin from Agrabah's Fanart!
Wow, one of your best pictures! Love the background and the whole mood, as well as the shininess of his belt (or his pants waistband). It's interesting how he looks like a brave man in his stance and pose, but his facial expression looks like a little boy trying to be tough!

Thank you, you two, I'm really flattered.
Yeah I was thinking about drawing Giselle but for the time being I'm not very much into the princess stuff.

Like it? Love it! It's all perfect: The drawing, the expression, the shadows. Well, okay, I do have one qualm: I don't think the background's that great, with the spray can look . The reason why is because it doesn't look whole, or complete somehow. It is nice but I think there needs to be some outlines or shadows that define the background more than just the spray can. Let me put it this way: the spray canned stuff would look better if it felt confined, but some of the tiny dots spread out of the boundaries of whatever they're supposed to form.
But Tarzan looks great of course. I do get the fierce emotion from him.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!
Disney Dusteryou always have to give a useful advice, I appreciate it very much!
Ariel's Prince yes, I think when I get in the princess mood again I'll definately draw Giselle.... maybe because we're in the whole "coming soon" atmosphere and I 'm really excited about the film, otherwise Giselle's design -although very nice- is not one of my favourites. Maybe when I watch the movie I'm gonna like her more.
blackcauldron85thanks, Aladdin and Tarzan, along with Hercules, are my favourite Disney heroes. And they're both Glean Keane, so, as I always say.... Glen ROCKS!!
