I remember our website was the first to put up the release dates of Lady & The Tramp and Little Mermaid so it's not surprising Peter Pan is the same but yeah it is a little confusing that it's not on Buena's site. Maybe they are designing a new fresh website. The current one is a little boring.
Cool, I didn't doubt Ezy's schedule because we (DVDBits) often rely on it for schedules and new releases. However, BVHE have changed their schedules without notice before and admittedly, the lack of info on their site is nothing new.

I guess we'll know come March!
Loomis I had no idea you were part of DVDBits. Love that website! Keep up the good work.

This is true about schedule changes. As far as I know Peter Pan is pretty much locked in for 14th March. It was in a company newsletter and my store is beginning to start what will be an eventual heavy promotion for it. But yes as you say you just never know. It could be pushed back to July and only be 1 disc ala Lady & The Tramp!

Yes, I am the "Richard Gray" that seems to be doing all the work at the moment (grumble grumble..it's a sore point...but I love doing it so I'm fooling nobody :)).

Thanks for reading. We may even get quoted in the Melbourne Age soon!

Say, Loomis, do you know when the Peter Pan PE will be released in Australia? Or does anyone else know?

And here I was thinking pugs were such nice placid creatures...

I agree though that is quite a ridiculous question.

We can start to rest easy, with Cinderella III now added to the BVHE listings.

No sign of Peter Pan, but it seems more likely that BVHE is just behind in updating their database.

I was always told that for "major" releases they
sometimes have an advertising embargo that is in place until a month before the title is released.

So on February 14th, stores will be covered with Peter Pan things & the
market can be inundated.

It happened with Cars I remember.

I always found it to be a bit silly, as the minute you tell people about "major" releases they get very excited,
yet the company itself don't advertise the "major" release until a
month beforehand.

Strange.

But not as strange as using your Wii to write things.
Take 15 minutes anyone?
Sure does

That is actually my web site, titles are often listed on the OFLC web site, long before release.

Peter Pan has finally been added to BVHE web site too.

I noticed 'Mickey's Great Club House Hunt' is listed as a DVD release on 4th April 2007 now too.

Leroy & Stitch! Finally!

I was so close to breaking down and buying the R1 copy. Indeed, with the exception of the original (which I have in both single and 2-Disc R4 sets), I have bought all of the Stitch sets from the US. L & S 2 I picked up in Disneyland, no less!

Thanks, Kirben.

Nearly a year later no less.

How silly.

I've no time for waiting.

Australia would get 101 Dalmations in March 08 too i'd imagine.

But even if not, I'd still be getting it from the states.

Fresh!

In anticipation of the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World''s End in cinemas, Disney is releasing both Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man''s Chest on the Blu-ray format on May 23.

It is joined by Dinosaur and Deja Vu on Blu-ray on the same day.

Bonus features and art for these titles are yet to be released.

According to the OFLC web site, the following volumes were classified for a DVD release recently:

Ducktales Volume 1 Disc 1
Ducktales Volume 1 Disc 2
Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers - Volume 2

Each listed as 6 episodes per volume, so we should be getting better video quality.

So looks like we are finally going to get DVD releases of their animated series. I just hope they are as good as the Region 1 releases.

Whoa! Sorry. Not everyone reads the entire thread from start to finish. You got to be a bit more flexible than that. And less impatient.

And yet, you keep posting and abusing people in this thread. Call me crazy, but I think I see a solution to both of our problems.
