Barry is running scared now. Read this about how "his" unions are working:

http://www.caintv.com/HurricaneSandydam ... irnonu-676

Tell my why Barry is the 'be all and end all' for our country. Electing Obama will set this country back 50 years, or more.

Unemployment is up and there are no jobs available in our economy. 23 million people are still out of work, and no end in sight. It only takes a little bit of effort to help put Americans back to work, but Barry only wants to make sure he has a job. Nice going you self-centered despot.

Electing Romney will set us back over 50 years in social issues (most notably, in feminism).

Looks like we have an issue here.

I'm going to say here why it's a lesser of two evils kind of deal for me. The main thing disagree with obama over is his involvement in foreign affairs. There shouldn't be drones. I saw a poll the other day asking people of different countries who they hope will win the election. Every country polled said obama, except pakistan. We are terrorizing the country, and killing innocent people. That is why it is really hard for me to vote for obama, but really, I know that Romney will be worse both for me personally and overseas. We shouldn't be funding Israel (but i fully realize he has to, or else it would be pretty hard to get elected).

I really wish I could vote for Rocky Anderson or Jill Stein. But that would be foolish, and I really disagree the people who are voting 3rd party this election, unless they have a really good reason (such as having family in Pakistan). A vote for Rocky would be a vote for Romney, which i think would just be so much worse.

Yeah, the elections need to change. But this election is not the time to try to start a movement. It's too important.

Although, if Romney does win, I can only hope it has a polarizing effect in the democratic party that makes it much more liberal, instead of the less extreme republican party it is now. Then that could possibly lead to a change in the way politics work here too, because I don't know how many people would stand for a 2 party system, each with extreme opposite views. But still, in the election, its not smart to take a chance like that.

Talking about feminism doesn't work with most Republicans because most of them don't believe women should have rights. Same for gays and minorities. And blue-collar workers.

So true. The Republican party will protect your interests only if you're a rich white heterosexual male...or a fetus. :P

ajmrowland wrote:^Agreed. we all should've listened to Sam Adams' opinions about a party system.
Hell, they should've listened to George Washington's Farewell Address, in which he warned about political parties:

"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissention, which in different ages & countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders & miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security & repose in the absolute power of an Individual: and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty."

Don't really know how many of you 'contributors' are registered to vote or even old enough to vote, but some of you are letting your common sense go by the wayside and are following your peers like they know everything.

Remember our votes do count in a way that not many understand. We still have the Electoral College to deal with, which I truly think should be abolished and that will put an end to all the BS that comes our of our politicians.

This is going to be one of the most closely watched elections in America's history because we have in office one of the Three Worst Presidents in our history.

This election results will show other countries whether we are still strong and the leader, or whether we will continue the downhill ride into Socialism. We need a Leader, not a Ruler. I don't care what religion a person is, we should vote for the person we think can turn this country around and put all four wheels back on the ground.

That is why I have voted an all-Republican ticket.

Don't vote for either of them. I didn't. There is no liberal media it is a ficton and no one can prove otherwise to me. Sometimes I wish I could kill the interest just to be free of this hatefest. I see nothing but complaining and hate online anymore. No exchanging of productive ideas just hate.

I am 33, Americam and a registered voter, Independent.

Obama is not perfect but to me he is better than Romney. I cannot vote for Romney with a clear conscience...having a bisexual daughter. Romney wishes to stop gays from having or adopting children. That is deplorable to take away humam rights. Americans have the RIGHT to the pursuit of happiness...for some that is marriage and kids. It is not the only reason I am against Romney but it is one of the.biggest reasons as it effects the life of MY CHILD directly.

Obama has my vote. Too late to change my mind.

Wow, today a friend of mine told me that they are voting for Obama because of me, and that they have voted republican their whole life.

And I don't even talk about politics with her, so she must be basing this just because of my existence and the things I tell her about my life. She knows that Romney will negatively effect my life and those of people i care deeply about, so she's voting obama because she cares.

wow. i just didn't think i could ever change anybody's mind like that by just being myself. This just made me so happy, so I thought I'd share.

Our newspaper predicted Romney will win the popular vote but Obama will win the electoral vote, thus Obama gets a second term. The NY Daily News endorses Romney which surprised me.
