Well, I am kind of a stickler to having exact replicas, so I might pass it up. Also, it will most likely not be hardcover, since I am used to being horribly surprised about those issues... Anyway, I have discovered the sculpture is worth 170 bucks! :o It would be horrible if it disappeared... :( It says that there are limited quantities, and that I need 4630 points left to get it... Maybe I should just get the backpack now...

Well, it costs $170 -- not the same thing. It's actually overpriced, points-wise, compared to the WDCC sculptures which retail for around the same but only cost half as many points. Not sure if that's because the Poppins sculpture is "rarer" than the rest, or because it's a third party product and not part of the home-grown WDCC line.

While the Double Points Days were nice (at least the first one with the higher cap!), I preferred last year's promotion (2nd anniversary of DMR). They only gave you 50 extra points per title then, up to four titles, but they also reduced a lot of the prizes by 30%. I was able to pick up Chef Louis for just 2,125 points that way.

It's true, you might be able to find some of these titles for relatively low prices at Best Buy or an online reseller, but if no other Reward categories interest you, then redeeming points for these movies beats shelling out $ for them.
Thank you for your help. I think I put aside Big Red because it was made later after Walt had died but I could be wrong. I certainly don't have it yet.

Has anyone ordered the apple and if so is it worth the 2,100 points?

I'll save you the search. The apple is crap. Almost every person who bought one has complained that they were defective. Lotsa chips, cracks, the occasional worm. :o

Yeah. The apple seems like a good idea, but it's not translating to reality very well.

No, Big Red was released in 1962, so it is a Walt-era movie. :)

Thank you so much!
Has anyone contacted them and have they responded yet? I know it says it takes a few days but sometimes they are fast.

I find it hard to believe they'll double my Pinocchio blu-ray when I later entered three other codes of lesser value that were doubled, but you never know.

And by the way.. I am still in need of one code. If any one can help, please PM me. I'd be happy to return the favor.

Ugh. The Up backpack is "currently unavailable". I'm guessing this means it will disappear from the catalog soon... :(
BTW, could someone post pics of the Snow White Crystal Apple or the Kevin plush(es)? I'm wondering if they look as nice as they do in the catalog.

How positive are you that it will disappear? (Not much of a pro at the DMR website.) I'm regretting not clicking REDEEM yesterday!

Question about Codes in CDs. Are they on inserts similar to the ones in the DVDs? I just bought the Princess and the Frog soundtrack, and the only insert was for the wii game and ringtones or something. Very annoyed, because I sure am not cutting up my insert to mail it in for a code.

Okay, I give up, I need help after all. I can't get beyond the "Plug-In Loading" phase to get the points from my CD. I've tried a few things to get past the security. Does anyone know what really works? I hate to lose this 50 points!

I couldn't get my MMCH Meeska Mooska CD to validate and give me points either. Ended up emailing and complaining. The response said to reset your browser, etc. and nothing worked. Eventually they just emailed me a code for the 50 pts. and the code worked.

Thanks for the code and pics, Just.A.Friend! I don't know if I will regret not redeeming the backpack or not, I have a Cedar Point bag that looks pretty much the same, just without the logo. But still... :brick:
