I like the spine art. I like that it is purple and I like that Aurora is the only one pictured on the spine, unlike the 2003 Special Edition which featured both Aurora and Prince Philip. I think the spines look better when there is only one character featured, rather than two (like on The Aristocats as well).

I'm actually pretty okay with the two characters on the spine. Mainly because the original VHS of "Sleeping Beauty" had them both, so I guess I'm used to it. I actually kind of wish "Lady and the Tramp" had used both of them on the spine art.

And that Lumiere wasn't on the side of "Beauty and the Beast". What a lame way to make people buy the sequels.

Ya! Blue dress! Anyway, it's better than the 1997 VHS which had Maleficent on the side. Not that it isn't a terrible thing to have her on the side.

But now she's downgraded to not being on the cover at all! I'm still a bitter about that. But, the new covers growing on me.

See you guys! The new cover art that has been posted is the one thats all around the UK in the R2 DVD's advertisments of Disney DVDs, and the one I posted before.

I think its a great cover; better than the emptyish one thats posted in the UD upcoming DVD page. I like it! :D

Argh. I just saw the trailer for this on my 101 Dalmatians DVD. Still can't decide if I'm going to buy this since I have the old Special Edition which is in ranks of the Platinum series if you ask me.

What do you mean? I think I liked the one you posted better, or at least parts of it better (like the Disney dust explosion), and this final cover is different from the one you posted. And how does this cover look different from the one on the Upcoming page? Do you mean the Blu-ray one is different? But it's the same cover, only the title is huge and covering the bottom half, that is not what the final cover will be, exactly. You can see part of the dragon underneath. They've blown-up the title logo like on so many other covers, like The little Mermaid, for consumers to see it better.

I DO NOT LIKE THE COVER! All the French ones with new art were better! I agree with Atlantica it's too empty but that's just one of the problems! The only thing good is how beautifully drawn the characters are and the colors!

Gee I thought Sleeping Beauty would be an automatic NO from you since you don't partically like Aurora :P

I'm definitely getting the Blu-Ray...I already have the 2-Disc Special edition, but I'm curious to see how much more magical it's going to be on Blu-Ray, and its the first DAC on Blu-Ray too(2-D animtion that is)

If that's the official Blu-Ray cover - I'm EXTREMELY disappointed - The title of the movie is huge and it looks like Phillip and Aurora are shoved at the top and can barely fit. Absolutely Awful! and it had so much potential.
