Which other movies did your Wal-Mart have? I only picked up Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N. The sale last year was way better.

None. I had checked before and nothing (other than Coneheads, Kids in the hall: Brian Candy, Reba, Green Acres, a lot of stuff I did not care about and Just Shoot me which I DID bye) . Since I'm on Vacation (going White Water Rafting and seeing the Toronto open of Monty Python's Spamalot) we went to about three Wal-Marts and the good one had all the ones the others had, the ones I got, and lots more like
-Snowball Express
-Follow Me Boys! (Both of whitch my dad got)
-The Disney Sing-a-long discs
-The CCFs
-Not another Teen Movie (R-Rated)
-The Whole 9 Yards
-The Whole 10 Yards (Full screen)
-Sinbad (DreamWorks) (Full screen)
-The Big Bounce (full screen)
-Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N.
-Inspector Gadget
-Tron
-Return from Witch Mountain
And a bunch more.............

Now that my main bills have been paid, here is part one of my latest DVD purchases:

From Amazon Marketplace:

Beauty and the Beast 10th Anniversary edition (US$33.00)

From Big W

The Partridge Family: The Complete Season 1 (Normally $39.95, got the DVD for $27.95)
The Adventures of Superman: The Complete Season 1
(Normally retailing for $34.95, I purchased this for $29.95)

From K-Mart:

Bambi II

More to come tomorrow.

(BTW, I have put away enough money to purchase Pinky and the Brain and Animaniacs.) :)

Waiting For God - Series 1 R2

It's been about 10 years since I last saw this, and even though the first seaosn was a bit slow It's still an underrated gem of a sitcom!
It's stars Stephanie Cole and Graham Cowden as two pensioners in a retirement home who refuse to grow old gracefully and act like teenagers running riot and trying to get one over on the loathsome manager.

wikipedia: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waiting_fo ... 9">Waiting For God</a>

Howl's Moving Castle R2

In a word 'magical' Outstrips any other Ghibli film by Miles and outstrips a lot of Disney too!

Whisper of the Heart R2

Whereas Howl was brilliant all I can say for this is 'yawn'!
But that's the risk you take with blind buys.

Picked up the best concert film I have heard seen or heard today at Best Buy: America Live in Concert at the Sydney Opera House".

It has been 30 years since these guys made some of the best music heard on the radio. Who can ever forget "A Horse With No Name", "Ventura Highway", "Tin Man", "Lonely People", and "Sister Golden Hair", to name just a few? One of the best concert films I have ever owned. Lots of good extras including a new interview, and the concert itself runs just less than two hours.

Also picked up using my Best Buy Reward Zone card, Basic Instinct - Unrated Extended Director's Cut and Basic Instinct 2 - Unrated Extended Director's Cut for the 2 for $20 sale price.
