Here's another complaint...
So I have been reading rumors about many titles have an expiration date in the next few years (2021 or so) or even the next few days, which seems pretty deceptive for those who think they might be around forever, especially since it was publicly stated that the Disney Vault would be smashed wide open. For example, "The Princess and the Frog" is rumored to be removed on November 25, less than three weeks after the service launched.
Here is an example of an article that stated this, which states that "most movies on the service currently have a date to expire set to some time in 2020 or 2021":
https://comicbook.com/movies/2019/11/12 ... -revealed/.
When I read "most" in this context, I tend to believe that more than half of all the content on the site will be removed by that time.
More importantly, here's the original source of the rumor of expiration, from Stitch Kingdom of Twitter:
https://twitter.com/stitchkingdom/statu ... 1369291776.
Again, if Stitch Kingdom says, "Most movies have an expiration date," then I take that to mean "more than half will be gone by 2021 or so".
Granted, a few titles are shared with Netflix (they will be returned to that site in 2026), but most others do not, especially since Disney Plus was created to compete with Netflix in the first place. I really hope this is not true.
