Is that snow? If it is, I like they are doing something different with the cover for a change, but the butterfly is out of place then. They could have drawn Bambi skating on the frozen lake instead.

I prefer the green "spring/summer" forest cover than the "winter" one, but I still really like the cover, even if the butterfly is out of place and there's no Flower :(.

Nice! :) The Diamond Edition had no new bonus features, with the exception of an expanded version of The Inside Story Meetings. So I'm glad this Signature Collection will have at least a few new bonus features.

Bambi was (and still is) one of my true favorites from Walt's era. Regardless of it's stamp, it deserves all the recognition that it can get. And yes, I know that I'm biased :P.

It still seems strange that Bambi will be released for the fall season, instead of The Lion King.

Bambi was always released in the spring, like the Platinum and Diamond Editions.

But isn't Bambi being released in June though?

You can watch the brand new trailer for the Signature Collection edition on the DMA app or website here:

https://www.disneymoviesanywhere.com/movie/bambi-2017

What's strange, is that instead of updating the old DMA entries for Bambi and Bambi II (like they did for previous Signature re-releases like SW, BATA & Pinocchio) they've made new ones, which doesn't make sense. If this isn't an error, people who purchased Bambi digitally back in 2011 would have to purchase again to have the new edition!!

Has it been reported yet which bonus features will inevitably be dropped from either the Platinum or Diamond editions?

Here's another trailer:

Now that I've seen the cover in hi-res, I think it's not snow what is in the background. They've just lighten it a lot so that it could match the previous covers in the collection, which had white backgrounds. That's more clear on the DVD cover:

Also what is the deal with Bambi 2? That will be released as a DMC exclusive?
Anyone have more information on that?

Yes, Bambi II (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD) will be released as a DMC exclusive on the same day, June 6th, 2017.
A bundle which includes both movies is also being offered through DMC.

I guess just the digital will be released the same day as Bambi's release on May 23rd as per Disney Movies Anywhere.
I'm taking it nothing new bonus features on Bambi 2 combo pack?
