I like that logo too, but I don't like that it's in pink. :|

The Once Upon a Time treasury cover uses the same vintage art found in the 1950s debuting Walt Disney's Cinderella Little Golden Boom by Disney animator Retta Scott Worcester.

Yes, that '90s Cinderella logo is still used on many Cinderella products today! It is indeed common and my favorite of her logos.

I love it in pink! ;)

I also love the '90s logo. I think it's super classy and it looks so much better than the one they use currently.

Meanwhile, has anyone ordered the Mini-art book of the Princesses? I'm thinking of getting it, together with the Pierre Lambert Cinderella book.

Duster, thanks for answering my question! I’m glad that logo is still in regular use, and that it’s so popular with other users here, too.

Our discussion sparked my curiosity and I was surprised to learn that the 90’s logo was never used for any Cinderella VHS releases (at least not the ones I found online).

I love this logo. It has much personality, it's magical.
Both covers from little golden book look really great! I have one that has the same artwork from the cover and It's really pretty inside.

Yes, Brelly, it seems Disney never saw it "fit" to grace a Cinderella home video release! :/

I also like the '90s logo. Blue is better, but the pink's not bad. Never thought about it until now, but looking at the original poster for comparison, I think I like it better than the original logo, tbh.

So obviously Cinderella and Charming are not looking like themselves on that Treasury cover. Concept art from the film, right???

No. It's not from a concept art from the film. It is from the first little golden book illustrated by Retta Scott Worcester who made the artworks for this book.

I like seeing different takes on my favorite characters, just wish Cindy had her hair all the way up to be more iconically recognizable!

Yes, they look really different but honestly I prefeer this kind of artworks than other that pretend to be more accurate but the finish job looks weird. In this case the shapes of the illustrations reminds to the movie but they look different at the same time.
I love when Disney gave so much freedom to their artist by the time. I have a book telling the story from LGB and it has beautiful artworks inside.

I recently looked up the The Art of the Disney Golden Books and was surprised to find they dont offer it in a digital format. I mostly just want a giant archive of as much disney golden book art as I can find, and if its digital is more easy for me to reference on the go.
